Kelsey Parker’s new boyfriend revealed as musician Tom James ‘who she met at memorial football match in honour of late husband Tom Parker’
Kelsey Parker’s new boyfriend is an aspiring musician she reportedly met at her late husband’s charity soccer match.
On Sunday, the 33-year-old mother of two shared a snap of her new partner on Instagram, captioning it with a heart emoji.
Kelsey was widowed in March 2022 when her husband Tom Parker β best known as a member of The Wanted β died of brain cancer at the age of 33.
Now it is reported that she met her new husband, Tom Hunt (known professionally as Tom James), while raising money in honor of her late husband, a tree surgeon and aspiring singer.
A source said The Sun: ‘Tom and Kelsey hit it off really well at the beginning of the year and he’s been really supportive of her.’

Kelsey previously said she knew her late husband Tom would “send the right man for her” (pictured with children Aurelia, four, and Bodhi, three)
The insider continued, βHe recently helped her out at a charity soccer match for Tom Parker and has also attended other events.
‘She has never made a secret of their romance and last week they looked very much in love at a gala.’
The last Tom Parker Charity Football March took place on June 16, Father’s Day. It is not known whether the couple met at that time.
On his website, James’ music is described as “based on pop and country music. His singing style has a unique sound and has evolved into what it is today through his love of blues and Americana.”
MailOnline has contacted Kelsey’s representatives for comment.
Last year, Kelsey said she knew her late husband Parker would “send the right man for her,” weeks before going public with her new romance.
In November of that year, she started a relationship with electrician Sean Boggans, but they have since broken up.
In an interview with OK! Magazine in June, Kelsey said she knows Parker “will send the right man for her.”
She said, ‘If it’s meant to be, it’s meant to be, and that person will be sent by Tom, I think. He’ll pick them for me.’

She detailed her thoughts on her ex Boggans, whom she dated after Parker’s death, adding: “I think he sent Sean for a reason. Sean was what I needed at that moment and he was amazing.
“I will never say a bad word about him. But right now I have to concentrate on work and taking care of my children.”
This past weekend, Kelsey posted a photo on Instagram of herself snuggling up to her new partner.
She was in high spirits as the couple embraced and Kelsey captioned the post with a heart emoji.
Kelsey didn’t share any specific details about her new man, but she did receive several messages of support from her famous friends.
In November 2022, eight months after Parker’s death, she began dating electrician Sean Boggans – although they split in December last year.
The two were introduced by friends at a wedding in Greenwich, London last October, but split as the first anniversary of Parker’s death approached.
‘Kelsey and Sean split around the anniversary of Tom’s death. Her head was all messed up at the time and her posture was wobbly, but Sean still fancied her and continued to pursue her,’ a source told The Sun.
“After a few weeks of talking, they got back together – she couldn’t ignore her feelings for him. It’s been really hard for them, but she wants to give it a chance.”
Sean spent time behind bars after fatally beating Shaun McDermott, 44, during a heated argument over a taxi outside the Havering Oak pub in Romford, Essex.
He was waiting for his then girlfriend to pick him up when an argument broke out with Shaun, who was knocked to the ground during the altercation. CCTV footage later captured the electrician walking away from the scene.
Shaun was found by police at around 1am, lying on the pavement with a brain haemorrhage. A post-mortem revealed he had died from head injuries, and Boggans was jailed for four years by a judge at the Old Bailey.
Despite finally being happy again, Kelsey was inundated with negative messages about how she wasn’t ‘grieving properly’, despite finding it difficult to cope.
Kelsey responded to internet trolls when she told The Daily Star: ‘When you lose someone you love dearly, it just proves you only have one life.
‘Tom would want me to be happy. You only have one life, so you have to live it. That’s what he taught us.
“If it’s back to dating…what does that have to do with anyone else? I think you should do whatever makes you happy in life.”
“There’s so much stigma about how to grieve. People think you have to wear black and a veil over your face and be a walking widow. But that’s not the case. I’m young and I have children to take care of.
‘There is no rulebook for grieving and I say to people, don’t worry about the way you grieve because there is no right or wrong way to do it.

“You can be laughing one minute and then be in deep emotion the next. There is no right or wrong way.”
Kelsey had previously said that her late husband would be “happy” if she found love again after his death.
She and Parker were together for about 13 years. They announced their engagement in 2016 and married in a romantic ceremony in Surrey in 2018.
Parker was diagnosed with stage 4 glioblastoma in October 2020. Doctors predicted he had only 12 months to live.
In September 2021, 11 months after his diagnosis, Parker sang at the Stand Up 2 Cancer performance at the Royal Albert Hall and even went on a Greatest Hits tour with his bandmates when the tumor was confirmed to be ‘stable’ in November.
But a close family friend revealed today that Parker’s condition rapidly deteriorated after the tour ended, and he died in March 2022.
