‘He’s the most relaxed person, he might as well have been horizontal. He is super close with his family so that’s so beautiful.’

The mother of two also took to Instagram to share a heartfelt post about spending her third Christmas without her husband.

She shared a series of snaps of the couple over the years: ‘This will be our third Christmas without Tom, and while the holidays are filled with so much love and joy, they also bring moments of deep sadness.

“When I look at the children’s excitement, I think of how much he loved this time of year… and I feel his absence in everything we do.”

She continued, “But we find strength in our memories! In each other, and in creating new traditions while keeping Tom’s spirit alive.

“For anyone dealing with grief during the holidays, you are stronger than you think.”

Kelsey previously revealed she met her new boyfriend organically after deciding to stay away from dating apps for fear people would think she had ‘moved on’ and forgotten about her pop star husband Tom.

She told Ranvir Singh during an appearance on Lorraine: ‘We met friends, he was out with a group of guys and I was out with a group of girls and we just connected.

‘I just wanted to meet someone authentic. I couldn’t have done the dating app, I was so scared and it was people’s judgment about moving on and meeting someone, but everyone is so supportive.

“The love I have been shown is so amazing.”

Kelsey also explained that she initially found it difficult to market herself and date because she was worried about the backlash.

She said, “There is no wrong or right way to grieve. We all talk about time, when is the right time to move on, but I don’t think there is a right time and with the cards I’ve been dealt, I have to roll with those cards.”

She added: ‘I never thought I would be a widow at the age of 32 with two children.’
