While on the red carpet at the event, Kelly — who was recently supported by Destiny’s Child co-member Beyonce at the film’s New York premiere — was spotted posing with some of her co-stars, including Trevante Rhodes, 34 .
The actor looked dapper in a black jacket with a brown pattern, a black shirt and jeans.
She also mingled with Nekia Nichelle, who sizzled in a black lace top, jeans and a blazer.
In the upcoming Netflix thriller, written and directed by Tyler Perry, Rowland stars as criminal defense attorney Mea Harper.
The film follows Mea as she decides to represent a young male artist (played by Trevante Rhodes) accused of murdering his girlfriend.
Rowland and Perry are also listed as producers on the project, which was picked up last February and shot in March.
Mea Culpa can be streamed on Netflix from February 23.
Hoda Kotb also broke her silence on Kelly’s recent locker room issue on Tuesday. The 59-year-old presenter extended an invitation to the singer again during an episode of Today with Hoda & Jenna, stating that she is always welcome on set.
“I just want to say this: I have great love and admiration for Kelly Rowland. I love her. And I want her to come back on our show, and I want her to be a host again,” she explained.

Hoda’s longtime co-host Jenna Bush Hager, who was scheduled to take the day off last Thursday when Kelly was expected to step in, agreed, saying the star is “always welcome” because “she’s the best.”
Hoda added, “I just want to say that we love her and we’ve loved her for many, many years on this show.”
Jenna then recalled Kelly’s debut on the Today show, exclaiming, “Remember the first time she was a guest and we both said, ‘Can she please host?’
It was reported on Friday that Kelly was unhappy with the dressing room that was offered, so she opted to leave the set at the last minute. Rita Ora came forward to fill in.
“On the other hand, we want to give a shoutout to Rita Ora, who came in at the last minute and really did a phenomenal job,” Hoda concluded on Tuesday’s episode.
Ora, 33, took to her Instagram on Friday to share a fun photo carousel from her time on the morning show and admitted it all came together in the eleventh hour.
Her post came hours after it was claimed that Kelly had left the guest hosting job after expressing dissatisfaction with Today’s dressing rooms.
The singer’s move left Today in disarray, according to sources Page six on Friday.

Trevante joined Kelly on stage
DailyMail.com has reached out to Rowland’s representatives and has yet to hear back.
Kelly did appear for an interview segment about her new project during the 8 a.m. segment of Today.
However, the publication reports that she was expected to fill in for Jenna Bush Hager during the fourth hour while she was a guest host for Today With Hoda & Jenna.
Insiders from the publication claim that Kelly dropped out at the last minute because the locker room was not “in order,” while television host Hoda “scrambled to find a replacement.”
The insider told the publication: “Kelly and her team were not happy. They didn’t like the dressing room, so they decided to take her off the show, leaving (Kotb) without a guest host at 10 a.m.’
They told Page Six that the singer and actress’ abrupt departure was a bit of a surprise.
A source said: “She is loved on Today. She got the full hour, and Hoda is the biggest hype woman in the world! There was no point.’
The insiders told the publication that Rowland played a game of “musical dressing rooms” with her team.
Her entourage reportedly inquired about the green room upstairs because “they didn’t like the room she was in.”
However, Jennifer Lopez was in the room at the time as she arrived there earlier to promote her new album and film This Is Me… Now.
Mea Culpa, in which Rowland stars as criminal lawyer Mea Harper, can be streamed on Netflix from February 23
Page Six also reports that the locker rooms on Today are notoriously known for being some of the smallest in the industry, with one source telling them that they are practically “glorified closets.”
The source said: “They are not nice. It is the oldest building. There are big space limitations, (it’s) not glamorous. It’s not fresh flowers, candles and gourmet food. It’s actually a white box.’
Today, stars Sheinelle Jones and Dylan Dreyer previously showed off their dressing rooms in 2021 and they didn’t look nice.
Insiders from the publication claim that chat show producers offered the star several other options, including talent dressing rooms and larger makeup and hair areas.
They explained, “They didn’t want that. (The show) actually offered as much as they could, but they weren’t happy with it, so they walked and left.”
