Kelly Ripa shares an NSFW story with Keira Knightley on how she got pregnant

Kelly Ripa shared a story about her third pregnancy with guest Keira Knightley on Monday’s edition of Live with Kelly and Mark.

The admission from Ripa, 54, came after Knightley, 39, said she did not bring her daughters Edie, nine, and Delilah, eight, to New York City during her promotional tour in support of her Netflix series Black Doves.

Knightley told Ripa and her co-host/husband Mark Consuelos, 53, “They’re with my family — they’re having a good time — I’m here with my husband.”

The England star said she was surprised by the silence she and husband James Righton, 41, experienced on the flight there.

“You know that sudden thing where you’re like, ‘Woah?'” the Oscar-nominated actress said. ‘I was on the plane – I was reading my book. I can sit down. This is great.’

Ripa – mother to Michael, 27, Lola, 23, and Joaquin, 21 with Consuelos – joked: ‘Careful honey, that’s how we got pregnant with number three – we left!’

Knightley pushed back playfully, “No, he’s not coming near me.”

Ripa and Consuelos celebrated their 28th anniversary last May, when they first tied the knot on May 1, 1996 in Las Vegas.

Knightley and Righton, a musician, celebrated their 11th anniversary earlier this year when they exchanged vows in Mazan, France, on May 4, 2013.

Ripa said on Friday’s show that she used her friendship with Madonna to help her three adult children come to an agreement on what the family’s Christmas card would look like this year.

‘What I did was, I sent my kids a picture of Madonna and me and her kids and I said, “This is this year’s family Christmas card, unless you guys approve of the three of you being in a picture of your dad and me” – here are your options… they literally said, “Do whatever you want.”

She jokingly said, “So I use Madonna, me and her kids.”
