Kelly Osbourne denied using Ozempic to help her lose 85 pounds after welcoming son Sidney in 2022.
The reality TV star, 39, revealed she lost weight ‘quickly’ by cutting out ‘sugar and carbs’ and not by taking Hollywood’s favorite weight loss drug.
‘I know everyone thinks I took Ozempic. I have not used Ozempic. I don’t know where that came from. My mother took Ozempic,” she said Additional in a new interview.
Kelly – who called Ozempic “amazing” earlier this year – revealed the weight loss was brought on after she developed gestational diabetes during pregnancy.
‘I had gestational diabetes and I needed to lose the weight I gained during pregnancy or I was at greater risk of actually developing diabetes, which I didn’t want.’

“I cut out sugar and carbs and lost weight quickly,” explained Kelly – who shares her son with Slipknot DJ Sid Wilson.
She also revealed that she received a total strengthening treatment, which combines EMFACE and EMSCULPT NEO, to sculpt her face and tone her body.
“I had the baby and my stomach got so many stretch marks and skin, it looks like it’s lost its elasticity,” Kelly shared.
It appears the confusion over Kelly’s use of Ozempic stems from the fact that she defended the weight loss drug earlier this year.
Kelly made it clear she’s a big fan of Ozempic and its competitors – despite previously admitting she went ‘too far’ in her quest to lose her post-baby weight last year.
“I love it,” the reality star turned television host said of the drug at Dolly Parton’s Pet Gala on Jan. 30, according to E! News.
Her thumbs up for the drug was somewhat surprising, considering how public her mother Sharon Osbourne, 71, has been about her negative experiences using it.
Part of the appeal to Kelly was that she found it less “boring” than changing your diet and exercising more to lose weight.

‘There are a million ways to lose weight, why not do it through something? [that] Isn’t it as boring as exercise?’ she continued.
Ozzy Osbourne’s daughter went even further, accusing critics of the drugs and others like them of being jealous or deceitful.
“People hate it because they want to do it,” she claimed. “And the people who hate it most are the people who do it in secret or are angry because they can’t afford it.”
However, she thought some of those complaints might disappear in the near future.
“Unfortunately it’s something that’s very expensive right now, but ultimately it won’t be because it actually works,” Kelly added.
Her latest comments come after she admitted in December that she was interested in going under the knife.
“I think I’ve decided what I want for Christmas,” she teased on the Osbournes podcast, before admitting she wanted “plastic surgery.”
“Kelly, don’t do that! Don’t start,” her father Ozzy shot back.
“Well, I just think it’s my time,” the mother-of-one responded, but Sharon intervened and said it was “too soon.”
However, she admitted that she was only a few years older than Kelly when she started having cosmetic procedures.
It appears the confusion about Kelly taking Ozempic stems from the fact that she defended the weight loss drug earlier this year, calling it “great.”
Kelly admitted in 2020 that she had stomach surgery to help her lose 35 pounds. She is seen on the left in September 2023 and on the right in 2013, before she had stomach surgery

However, Sharon has been open about the regrets she harbors after undergoing several procedures.
Last year, Osbourne told the Daily Star that “I’m often confused,” and shared that she had to get a facelift after looking like “Quasimodo” from The Hunchback Of Notre Dame.
Kelly has also been open in the past about being pressured to change her appearance.
During a September 2023 appearance on Scheana Shay’s Scheananigans podcast, she admitted she went “too far” in her attempt to lose her baby weight after welcoming her son Sidney 10 months earlier with her partner, Slipknot member Sid Wilson.
‘[I was] on a mission after having the baby only to lose everything [my] baby weight,” she said.
‘Then I thought, “Well, I’ve lost all the baby weight. Let’s see how far I can go with it.” And then went a little too far,” she added, before praising Rihanna for expanding the public’s views on what outfits are appropriate for pregnant people to wear.
Before that, Kelly admitted in 2020 that she had stomach surgery to help her lose 85 pounds.
