Kelly Clarkson throws shade at ex Brandon Blackstock in new video after ugly divorce and money war
Kelly Clarkson appears to have rejected ex-husband Brandon Blackstock in a new YouTube video for her upcoming album.
The 42-year-old singer – whose eponymous talk show was just renewed – posted the 53-minute visualization for her project When Christmas Comes Around… Again on Wednesday.
In the video, four red holiday stockings hang above a fireplace, complete with the names of each family member embroidered on them.
One features mum’s name and the others feature the names of her children (daughter River, 10, and son Remy, eight), plus one with the monogram ‘No’, apparently referring to her ex, 48.
Kelly recently revealed that her children prefer her to be single radio station COST 103.5, ‘They’re young, so it’s hard to imagine their mother with anyone other than their father.’

Kelly and Brandon were married from 2013 to 2022 and had a lengthy legal battle following their divorce filing.
The former couple met in 2006 and had been married for almost seven years when the pop star filed for divorce in June 2020.
Following the finalization of their divorce in March 2022, Clarkson was ordered to pay $45,000 per month in child support for their children.
In January, Kelly paid her final spousal support of $115,000 to Blackstock, which managed her.
A source told Us Weekly at the time, “Kelly is relieved that her marital support for Brandon has come to an end.
“She has been ready for a while and is so happy that her payments to Brandon will be complete. It’s so nice to know that this chapter of her life can end with the new year.’
In November 2023, a California labor commissioner ruled that Blackstock had “unlawfully” booked jobs for Clarkson, including signing her deal as a judge on The Voice, while working as her manager, since only agents can secure roles for talent, according to court documents obtained Through TMZ.
Blackstock also collected fees from other endorsements, such as Wayfair and Norwegian Cruise Line, in the amount of $2,641,374.
The labor commissioner ordered Blackstock to return the commissions — including $1.98 million for her appearance on The Voice — to his ex-wife.
