Kelly Clarkson sings a famous pop star’s song even better than the original: ‘100% crushed it!’

Kelly Clarkson is famous for her ‘Kellyoke’ covers of other artists’ songs on The Kelly Clarkson Show and on Tuesday she surprised her fans along with her guest Miranda Lambert.

The 42-year-old producer/host and the 40-year-old country singer made a beautiful duo when they teamed up with guitarist Jaco Caraco for an acoustic cover of Chappell Roan’s new single Good Luck, Babe!

Kelly possesses a powerful soprano voice with a three-octave range, and the 26-year-old red-haired pop star (born Kayleigh Rose Amstutz) is said to have exactly the same vocal range.

But one look at the Instagram Reactions to the viral clip showed how much fans preferred Clarkson’s performance of Chappell’s number 4 hit on the American Billboard Hot 100 graphic.
