Kelly Clarkson shocks a street performer who doesn’t recognize her before revealing her famous pipes
Kelly Clarkson surprised a busker in Las Vegas while on her way to sound check for her performance at the 2023 iHeartRadio Music Festival.
The 41-year-old American Idol winner – who recently declared she is single – shared the funny moment with fans on Saturday when she posted a clip to Instagram.
Clarkson wrote in the caption to her 7.1 million followers: ‘I was on my way to soundcheck for @iHeartRadio tonight in Vegas and tipped this incredible woman who killed some Tina Turner and then she asked me to sing and had no idea who I was. ‘
She added, “And then it hit her, and it made my day!” She gives the best hugs and sings her tail off! See you tonight Vegas ❤️ #iHeartFestival2023.’
Kelly appeared dressed up in the clip, wearing a black baseball cap, leggings and a long-sleeved shirt.

In the video, Kelly lent her voice to a cover of the late Tina’s 1984 hit What’s Love Got to Do With It.
It seemed the lady, dressed in jeans and a black and white raglan T-shirt, only realized who Kelly was after hearing her sing a few bars of the tune.
The talk show host reappeared on the photo-sharing app later in the day to promote her upcoming appearance.
She shared a poster for the show and wrote in the caption, “Vegas, see you tonight! Stream the #iHeartFestival2023 LIVE on @Hulu at 7pm PT! #iHeartOnHulu @iHeartRadio.”
A day earlier, Kelly discussed her love life while interacting with fans on Instagram Live.
The singer, who finalized her divorce from talent manager Brandon Blackstock last year, said she is happily single.
‘Do I have a boyfriend? No! And don’t look. You know why? “I love being single,” she announced.
The multihyphenate emphasized that she has a full house with “two children, two dogs, three rabbits (and) a hamster.”

However, with the help of a therapist, she was able to overcome the difficult time.
Kelly and her ex-husband share two children: daughter River, 9, and son Remington, 7.
