Kelly Brook and husband Jeremy Parisi open up about their ‘co-dependent’ relationship as they reveal uncertainty over family plans

Kelly Brook and her husband Jeremy Parisi have spoken candidly about their 10-year relationship and their uncertainty over family plans.
The 44-year-old TV personality and the 39-year-old Italian judo champion are taking part in the latest series of Race Across The World, in which celebrities and their partners, friends or family attempt to get to different places around the world as quickly as possible, without flying and with limited resources.
The couple started dating in 2014 after she messaged him on Instagram and they got married eight years later.
Now speaking with The Sunday newspapertold the couple that starting a family might not be an option.
Kelly explained, “Having kids is not part of the plan right now. We’re wonderfully codependent. I never thought a relationship like this could exist.”

Jeremy added: ‘I come from a big Italian family, so we will have to look after children. The future will decide for us, and maybe we will spend more time in Italy, although after being settled in London for so long and learning the language and dealing with all the Brexit regulations, I am in no hurry to leave.’
This isn’t the first time Kelly has said she’s a successful woman without children.
During the final episode of the BBC competition, the former glamour model touched on the subject when she told the camera: “There’s a lot of uncertainty about our future and where [Jeremy and I are] will end.
‘As a 44-year-old woman without children, you are of course a bit of an anomaly. You are at a crossroads in your life.
“Are you just going to be a career woman? Are you just going to be a family woman? Are you just going to be a wife? I’m not sure I want to do what everyone else is doing.”
Last year, Kelly sold her Kent farm worth £1.45million and moved to London with Jeremy.
The media personality, who is known as a keen cook and gardener, bought the 15th-century house on 4 acres of land in 2006 for £975,000.

The couple started dating in 2014 and married eight years later, but have now revealed that starting a family may not be on their agenda.
Discussing the uncertainty of what was to come, Kelly explained that children were “not part of the plan,” while Jeremy added that “they would have to see for themselves” and that “the future would decide that.”

Kelly stunned viewers in the very first episode of the BBC series on August 14 when she revealed her real name.
The Heart FM presenter and actress was born Kelly Anne Parsons, but took the surname Brook when she started her modelling career.
In the episode, Kelly said: ‘Kelly Brook doesn’t actually exist, it’s not even a real name, it’s never been in my passport or anything. In my mind, I’m Mrs Parisi, Jeremy’s wife.’
In the series, celebrities travel from Belém, Brazil to Frutillar, Chile.
The sixth and final episode of the second series of Celebrity Race Across The World airs on BBC One and iPlayer at 9pm on Wednesday.
