Keith Urban worried Nicole Kidman lookalike daughter Sunday Rose, 16, ‘not ready for fame’ after high profile red carpet appearances
According to a new report, Keith Urban has expressed his concerns about his daughter Sunday’s recent entry into the showbiz world, saying she isn’t ready for fame.
The 16-year-old made her red carpet debut in April at the American Film Institute’s 2024 Life Achievement Award Gala, honoring her mother Nicole Kidman’s legendary film career.
She has also recently appeared on other red carpets, including the Balenciaga Haute Couture show during Paris Fashion Week.
However, an ‘insider’ has revealed that Women’s Day that Keith, 56, would prefer Sunday to stay out of the spotlight until she ‘grows up’.
“He knows he’s being overprotective, but he wants Sunday to wait a few more years to really grow up before she even thinks about becoming a star.”
The source added that Sunday Rose, who is increasingly resembling her famous mother, is pressuring Nicole, 57, to attend red carpet events, while ‘overprotective’ Keith would rather his daughter stay at home.
“Keith is really in a bind,” the insider claimed.
‘Sunday and Nicole are cut from the same cloth, but he worries that Nic is taking the easy way out and saying ‘yes’ to their daughter too often.’

Nicole and Keith have two children: Sunday Rose, 16, and Faith Margaret, 13. Nicole also has two adopted children, Connor, 29, and Bella, 31, with her ex-husband Tom Cruise.
Nicole and Keith are one of the longest-lasting couples in Hollywood. They married in 2006.
In conversation with American outlet ABC News In 2018, Keith admitted that he loved being a father of girls.

“I love being a parent,” Keith revealed. “I didn’t know I would ever be one.”
The hitmaker continued: “It’s an incredible feeling.
“And having girls — I love having girls. You know, I come from a family with no sisters, one brother. So it’s been quite a learning curve in a really good way.”
Keith added that his family life is pretty “normal” and they don’t fall into the pitfalls of fame.
“We have a real life in the sense that we do most normal things as a family and are not on social media all the time,” Keith said.
“We don’t read gossip magazines. We don’t pay attention to them.”
“Keith really put himself in the middle because Sunday is the one who let Nicole go to these events,” the insider claimed.
