Engineering, procurement and construction company KEC International on Tuesday posted a multiple jump in its consolidated net profit at Rs 96.87 crore in the quarter ended December 2023, helped by higher revenues.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 17.60 crore in the October-December quarter of the previous financial year, the company said in a stock exchange filing.
The company’s total revenue rose to Rs 5,032.70 crore from Rs 4,376.34 crore in the year-ago quarter.
Expenses stood at Rs 4,911.98 crore, compared to Rs 4,364.91 crore in the third quarter of last fiscal.
KEC International, a global infrastructure engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) major, has a presence in sectors such as energy transmission and distribution, railways, civil infrastructure, urban infrastructure, solar energy, oil and gas pipelines and cables.
