Keanu Reeves pictured hobbling on crutches with ice pack around his knee on set – after detailing gruesome John Wick set accidents

Keanu Reeves has been photographed hobbling on crutches with an ice pack wrapped around his knee on the set of his latest film, Good Fortune.

The action star, 59, was spotted walking the sidewalk around the set in Los Angeles with assistance on Thursday.

It was not immediately clear whether Reeves was using the crutches for personal injury or as part of the project he was filming. DailyMail.com has contacted representatives for comment but has not yet responded.

Reeves seemed to put a lot of effort into getting around before he was hit with a literal bump in the road.

A cable protector proved a minor obstacle for the actor, who carefully lifted his bandaged foot to get around it.

Co-star Seth Rogen was also pictured on set, looking at his phone while taking a break from the cameras.

Reeves seemed dressed in character with his taupe trench coat, neat white shirt, slacks and tie. His feet were comfortable in boots.

The look resembled the suits his character John Wick famously wears in his films.

Reeves has played the famous ex-hitman since 2014, and last year he opened up about the injuries people working on the film suffered on set.

Speak with ComicBook.comReeves revealed that he accidentally injured someone and in another case, a person working on the film was hospitalized after being hit by a car.

“Well, I mean, everyone’s pretty tired, but it’s the best kind of tired. It’s like you’ve climbed a mountain now that you’re resting; as if you have completed the game and won. So as far as accidents go, I once made a mistake: I cut open a gentleman’s head.

“So that really sucked (pardon my language). But other than that – oh, a guy got hit by a car. He was in the car, so he had to go to the hospital, but he was fine.”

It remains to be seen if any stunts will be involved for Reeves’ new role in Good Fortune, with the plot currently unknown.

The film is directed by Aziz Ansari, who also stars in the film and wrote the screenplay.

Filming was scheduled to begin in May last year but was postponed following the outbreak of the 2023 Writers Guild of America strike.

Lionsgate’s Motion Picture Group Chairman Joe Drake made a statement expressing his excitement for the upcoming project.

‘We have indeed found happiness with this film. We love the script and strongly believe in Aziz as a performer and director,” he said in a statement Variety.

The entertainment industry figure also spoke highly of both Reeves and Rogen’s acting skills.

“When you add Seth and Keanu – two incredible, world-class talents – alongside Aziz, this has the potential to be a very special film for us. We moved quickly to secure this project as soon as it became available,” he said.
