“Were you jumping from building to building? Were you making a cart while passing razor blades? What were you doing?” Stephen asked.

“No, Stephen, I walked into the dressing room, a room. I’ll tell you quickly,” Keanu said.

He explained that he was filming a scene for the upcoming comedy Good Fortune starring Aziz Ansari, 41, and Seth Rogen, 42, and they were in a cold plunge.

Keanue said he loved it and when they were done he did the ‘cold shuffle’.

He said he was performing the “cold shuffle” in a room covered in protective carpeting, but his foot became caught in a bag while shuffling.

Keanu stood up and walked over to Stephen’s desk to show how he fell and how his knee gave out.

“And I spiked. Like, spiked,” Keanu said, showing his knee moving downward.

“I just knocked him into the ground,” Stephen said.

“My patella, kneecap, was cracking like a potato chip. But I didn’t know that. But then my knee started swelling up,” Keanu said.

“Comedy is hard, man,” Keanu joked.

“That’s what I was going to ask. This wasn’t an action movie with Aziz and Rogen,” Stephen said.

“No, it was comedy,” Keanu confirmed.

“Welcome to my life,” Stephen joked.

Keanu was spotted filming in January, wearing crutches and an ice pack on his knee.

Good Fortune marks the directorial debut of Aziz, who also wrote the film’s screenplay and co-produced it.

Keke Palmer and Sandra Oh also star in the film.

Good Fortune will be released in theaters and distributed by Lionsgate Films.
