EXCLUSIVE
A woman accused of throwing a dog off a cliff while it was trapped in a kennel has been exposed as a young mother.
Kaylah Williams, 34, allegedly threw the Australian Bulldog over a slope in bushland near Clive Bissell Drive on Mount Ousley, in Wollongong, sometime in the evening of Saturday, January 21 last year.
The dog was discovered around 8.30am the next morning after a bushwalker heard the animal screaming and then tracked it to an upside-down kennel at the foot of the cliff face.
The man called the police, who arrived on the scene together with specialist officers from the police rescue team, the bomb disposal squad and members of the SES to begin a rescue operation.

The dog was reportedly found emaciated, in poor health and had suffered injuries during the fall.
He was taken to a local vet but had to be euthanized due to his poor condition and injuries.
Police seized the kennel for forensic examination and launched an investigation, which culminated in the arrest of Mrs Williams at her home in Horsley just over twelve months later on April 12, 2024.
Daily Mail Australia can reveal that Williams is a young mother originally from Wellington, a small rural town of just over 4,000 people located in the Central Western Slopes region of New South Wales.
It is understood Williams moved to Western Sydney about seven years ago before later moving to Wollongong.
On social media, she describes herself as a “full-time mom” who “just likes to have fun.”

Williams has been charged with torture, assault, etc. and causing the death of animals and is currently out on bail.
