A teenager is accused of fatally shooting a beloved father of three.
Kayde Desmond Gehrke, 19, was arrested on Thursday after 35-year-old Jarryd Miller was found dead at his home on Walnut Crescent in Lowood, west of Brisbane, about 5am on Tuesday.
Police will allege Gehrke, from Mount Beppo, about 50km north of Lowood, was known to Mr Miller.
Tributes to the beloved father were posted online by his family and friends, who described him as a 'loving family man who always put his family first'.

Mr Miller is survived by his partner Jess, their daughters Nikita, 14, and Cloe, 6, and eight-year-old son Tyson.
Locals reported that the father was found “in the garden” shortly before emergency services were contacted, police said Courier mail.
“I woke up just after 5 a.m. to a car flying around the corner,” a female resident told the publication.
'I opened my blinds and saw an ambulance driving by, then I walked outside and saw police after police.'
She said another house on the street was burgled just before Christmas and that Mr Miller's young family was 'fortunately' not in that house at the time of the incident.
Police have appealed for anyone who saw anything suspicious in the Walnut Crescent area between midnight and 2am on January 2 to come forward and assist with the ongoing investigation.
Gehrke was in court Thursday on a single count of murder.

Mr. Miller's good friend, Samantha Hall, started one GoFundMe on Wednesday afternoon to support the devastated young family and give their father “the send-off he deserves.”
“He was my best friend and my most favorite drinking buddy for the past 13 years,” Ms Hall's post on the fundraising page reads.
“Jarryd has played a huge role in the lives and experiences of so many people and absolutely deserves the best send-off we can give him.”
His sister Courtney said he will be “forever missed” in a message on the fundraising page.
'I can't believe you're gone. My heart breaks not only for me, but for your beautiful family who now have to live without you.”
