Past acquaintances of OnlyFans star Kay Manuel have come forward with what they say is proof that the adult content creator is transgender, days after she strongly denied the rumours.
The 22-year-old, who made headlines for sleeping with dozens of teenage men at Schoolies on the Gold Coast, broke her silence on the claims this week by adamantly stating she is biologically female.
When she received photos from an old Facebook account of a young man who online sleuths claim is Manuel, she laughed off the similarity as a coincidence.
“We look very much alike, but no, I’m not… and no, I’m not transgender,” she told Daily Mail Australia this week.
“I think it’s because I have a deep voice,” she said, adding that if she were transgender, she wouldn’t hide it.
However, former colleagues and a fellow high school student claim Manuel’s transition to womanhood is an open secret in her hometown of Coffs Harbor on the NSW north coast, where they say she was previously known as Kayden Tai Manuel.
Manuel has refused to comment on the latest claims that she is transgender.
“It’s incredibly common knowledge,” said an acquaintance.
‘Coffs is not always an open-minded town and gossip about her transitioning to a woman circulated in group chats along the coast.’

A former school friend, Zahra, who until recently also posted sexual content on OnlyFans, claimed she had been in contact with Manuel over the years, including when she transitioned to female and began identifying as Kay Manuel full-time.
“I have messages from her personally confirming that she is transgender,” Zahra said.
“When I messaged her in November [last year] asking if she had done that [genital reassignment] operation she replied: “I wanted to”.’
It is understood that Manuel has since undergone that surgery.
Manuel told Daily Mail Australia this week that there was “no truth” that she had been nominated for “best transgender porn star” for two years at an adult industry awards ceremony last year.
She claimed it was a mistake by the show’s organizers.
“I talked to the awards about it… and they just said it wasn’t true because I didn’t win anything,” she said.
However, a former colleague who worked with Kay at a McDonalds restaurant on the NSW north coast recalls her expressing an interest in the transition in 2018.

“She was openly gay for most of high school, but didn’t show an outward interest in becoming trans until she was 17,” the ex-colleague said.
“Even before her surgery, she dressed as a woman.”
Another former schoolmate remembers Manuel wearing a dress during their twelfth year.
This is the second year Manuel has joined Schoolies parties to recruit teenagers to film sex on camera, with the videos shared on subscription platforms.
“If I was trans, of course I would communicate that to the men I film with,” she told Daily Mail Australia this week.
Manuel, who has her sights set on breaking a new record in bedding more than 1,000 teenagers in two weeks, claims to have slept with 75 young men within the first two days of Schoolies on the Gold Coast.
She said the consent process involved more than just checking a box and signing a form.
“What a lot of people don’t know is that my content is filmed during the day because Schoolies need to be sober to film,” she explained.
Participants must provide ID proving they are over 18, take a sobriety test, and sign multiple consent forms for the various platforms Manuel uses to distribute her adult content.
They can also hide their identity and have the option to withdraw consent once filming is completed.
“Consent is very important, so I understand why people are outraged about it,” she said.
“There’s an initial meeting – basically a consultation – and I have all the different consent forms ready and it takes between 20 and 40 minutes to get through that paperwork.”
When contacted for comment on Tuesday, Manuel did not want to talk about her past.
“I have already given all my answers and story to another channel,” she said.
