NBA star Kawhi Leonard ‘steps away’ from the Los Angeles Clippers to help family evacuated due to wildfires in the Pacific Palisades, hours before the team’s game against the Nuggets.
Leonard has been with the Clippers since 2019 and is an integral part of the team, which sits in seventh place in the Western Conference.
The Clippers will likely be in Denver for Western Conference play before Leonard’s absence became public knowledge.
