Katy Perry’s Coronation Concert gown is likened to a TOFFEE PENNY

She put on a breathtaking show at the Coronation concert on Sunday night.

Still, Katy Perry’s choice of outfit paired her renditions of Fireworks and Roar a bit with incredible staging in the dark — because viewers were distracted by her dress.

The singer, 38, looked incredible in a gold lame Vivienne Westwood dress, which was – rather hilariously – compared to a Quality Street Toffee Penny.

The iconic gold candy from Mackintosh’s beloved selection box of treats is wrapped in gold foil layered under clear plastic and unmistakably resembled Katy’s plunging dress, which featured a full skirt and structured top.

Viewers took to Twitter to write: “Katy Perry / Quality Street Toffee Penny…I think Katy Perry dug into the quality box for this dress…
