Katy Perry reveals her shock diet while in Australia after those Ozempic weight loss rumours

Katy Perry has revealed she dined in Australia while Down Under to perform at the AFL Grand Final.

In an Instagram video, the American pop star, 39, revealed she had eaten several eggs.

Standing in front of a table full of breakfast foods, Katy explained, “I eat a lot of hard-boiled eggs because they are a great source of protein.”

The Hot N Cold singer then cheekily added that she had come up with her own time-saving method for cracking the eggs.

‘I don’t crack them [the plate]I’ll go soon [cracks on forehead]. Ouch, that one really hurt and there was some juice in it,” Katy joked.

She was also seen eating another hard-boiled egg while getting her hair and makeup done.

It comes after claims Katy may be taking Ozempic or another weight loss drug after showing off her incredibly toned figure on the cover of her new 143 album.

After unveiling the album cover for her latest record, social media users began speculating that she may be taking a drug to achieve her recent weight loss.

The artist, who has said she tries to work out at least three or four times a week to maintain her figure, was accused of taking a weight-loss drug to get into the shape of her life.

Meanwhile, Katy surprised her Australian fans with an exciting announcement on Monday.

The pop star revealed she has added a show in Adelaide as part of her upcoming 2025 Australian Lifetimes tour.

The original run included just one show in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth, but the American pop star added additional shows.

She has now announced that she will also be performing in Adelaide during the tour.

“I heard you loud and clear Adelaide, I got you!” Tickets go on sale TOMORROW for June 26 for THE LIFETIMES TOUR,” she wrote on Instagram.

Katy wowed the crowd at the MCG in Melbourne on Saturday during her AFL Grand Final show.

She was reportedly paid as much as $5 million to perform a pre-game performance during the finals.

Her 20-minute set included two songs from her latest album 143, Lifetimes and Beautiful, as well as a selection of her best-known hits including I Kissed A Girl and Roar.
