Ms. Perry joins a roster of stars including Take That, Lionel Richie, Andrea Bocelli, Welsh bass-baritone Sir Bryn Terfel, singer/songwriter Freya Ridings and classic soul artist Alexis Ffrench.

Of all the stars on the bill, Katy Perry is probably the most talked about worldwide.
Katy Perry has offered an overnight stay at Windsor Castle as part of a deal to perform at the King’s Coronation Concert next month
Perry and her entourage will be given a series of suites in the historic castle, where the concert will be given on Sunday, May 7
The singer first met the king at an event in Mumbai in 2019 when he was still Prince of Wales.
The meeting was undoubtedly memorable for both of them, as it was the first – and probably the last time – the King ever asked anyone for a selfie.
Details of the photo request were revealed by the King’s former aide Scott Furssedonn-Wood.
Mr Furssedonn-Wood, who was Deputy Private Secretary to Charles, told the King how much his children loved Mrs Perry’s music.
The king then stepped in and asked the singer to pose with his assistant.
Mr Furssedonn-Wood, who is now High Commissioner for Barbados and Eastern Caribbean, posted details of the meeting on Twitter, saying: ‘Exciting that @KatyPerry is performing at #CoronationConcert.
“I was with The King in Mumbai in 2019 when he first met her. I had told him how much my children loved her.
“Those of us on the team have never asked for selfies. So HRH kindly asked for me “He and his family are such fans!”‘
Katy Perry has previously joined the king’s sons Prince William and Harry in their Heads Together mental health campaign, taking part in an awareness video.
Since then, she’s grown closer to Harry – at least geographically.
When the Duke and Duchess of Sussex moved to the famous enclave of Montecito, where Katy Perry and her British fiancée Orlando Bloom are neighbors.
Bloom played the role of Prince Harry in a controversial cartoon called The Prince.
Bloom said Harry was “aware” he would be playing his neighbor on the HBO Max program, which critics described as a “ferocious” portrayal of the Duke.
In an interview, Bloom said, “Initially I thought, ‘Hmm, what do I think about this,’ because I’m a British guy who’s very proud of my roots.”
He added of Harry, “This guy is so nice and I think he has a great sense of humour. I hope he keeps that up with this, because they’re kind of on a pedestal. We show real worship to them in one form or another.
“I’m trying to justify it because honestly, if I’m being honest, it’s not for me to make fun of anyone, but it’s done with affection.”
Katy Perry was previously known for her criticism of the fit of Meghan’s wedding dress.
Speaking of the 2018 royal wedding, she said: “I would have made another fit. I will never tell the truth! One more fitting, but I love you. Kate, Kate, Kate won, Kate won!”
An LA-based celebrity booking agent said it’s not unusual for performers to receive luxury “add-ons” in exchange for their services.
The man, who has worked with Ms Perry as well as other A-list names including Beyonce, said: ‘People like Beyonce and Katy get invited to all sorts of things. I had a celebrity client who was invited to perform in the Middle East and while the money was huge, it wasn’t something she really wanted to do. Then the host offered an all paid desert safari by camel and a private jet to and from the event and that was the deal. But this is on a different scale. Who else can say that they have been invited by the king to spend the night in his castle? I mean, that’s his boasting.’
