Katy Perry spoke candidly about her relationship with Orlando Bloom and how intense their fights get.
The 39-year-old Wide Awake hitmaker, who recently stripped down to a skimpy butterfly top, was excited People about her partner and daughter Daisy Dove, four, while promoting her new album on Thursday.
She proudly told the outlet that their daughter is a mix of herself and the Pirates of the Caribbean star, 47, saying, “She’s just not shy. She’s the product of both parents who are very sassy.”
Of her longtime boyfriend, she said, “When Orlando and I fight, it’s often intense and heated, but we cool down quickly afterwards.
“It’s like, ‘La la la la la, I love you. Okay, let’s move on,'” she explained.

The mother of one also called her party of three a “loud family,” saying they refer to themselves as “the chaos crew.” We are fire, fire, fire, and so on. [Daisy] sees all that.’
She also gave fans a glimpse into Orlando’s romantic energy: “He’s a real sage. We both have parts of ourselves. There are two parts of us, our highest good, and then our fleshly, material self. Ego.
“When the ego is in charge, you think, ‘Wow.’ But when that’s under control, then we’re both different things.”
The couple met in January 2016 at a Golden Globes afterparty and started dating right away. He popped the question on Valentine’s Day 2019.
On August 26, 2020, they welcomed Daisy Dove in Los Angeles.
When she’s not spending time with her daughter, the starlet is busy promoting her seventh studio album, 143.
The album was released on Friday and features some of her previously released singles Woman’s World, Lifetimes and I’m His, He’s Mine.
Although her comeback album was eagerly anticipated and her first one was released four years ago, her singles received a lot of criticism.
In July, it was announced that Katy has been working with producer Dr. Luke on her new music, including the “female empowerment” anthem Woman’s World.
This led to a backlash, as Dr. Luke was previously embroiled in a decade-long legal battle with 37-year-old singer Kesha. He sued her in 2014 after she accused him of physical, sexual and emotional abuse, which he vehemently denies.
Earlier this month, Katy defended her decision during an appearance on Call Her Daddy, where she first addressed the controversy.
“I understand it’s sparked a lot of conversations,” she said of her decision to work with Dr. Luke again. “And he was one of the many people I’ve worked with.”
The Wide Awake singer stressed that Luke is just someone who helps her ‘facilitate’ her music.
