Katy Perry took to Instagram on Sunday to share striking new images with fiancé Orlando Bloom.
In the snapshots, the longtime couple – who celebrated their anniversary this month – were dressed to the nines in formal attire.
The 39-year-old pop star and 46-year-old actor added unexpected elements in the form of alien prosthetics on their faces and ears.
Katy engaged her 206 million followers and wrote in the caption: “spread-eagled and starry-eyed.”
There was no added context or explanation as to why they wore the looks.

The California native wore a shimmering champagne-colored metallic dress with a corset bodice and accordion pleats.
The look featured a side slit, through which the singer showed off one of her toned legs.
She completed the outfit with a pair of sparkling pointed-toe high heels in the same color as her dress.
Her long and shiny raven locks were parted in the middle and partially pulled back.
The beauty’s eyebrows were completely covered to achieve the otherworldly presentation and she sported horn-like pieces on her forehead.
Her ears were also costumed in prosthetics that gave them a pointed tip to match those of her husband-to-be.
Katy’s look also included a full face of fabulous makeup with elongated lashes and pink and purple shimmer.
The bizarre upload has racked up more than 555,000 likes from Perry’s legion of fans to date.

It comes after Katy wished her husband a happy birthday earlier this month when she saw him walking the Golden Globes red carpet while attending the event.

They share three-year-old daughter Daisy Dove Bloom. Orlando is also father to son Flynn, 13, from his relationship with Miranda Kerr.
