Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom ham it up as they pack on the PDA during star-studded Caring for Women Dinner

Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom stole the show on Monday with their playful and loving performance at the Kering Foundation’s Caring for Women dinner.

The glamorous couple made a striking entrance on the red carpet at The Pool during New York Fashion Week for the third annual gala, which supports organizations working to end gender-based violence.

The 39-year-old Teenage Dream singer stunned in a strapless, sparkly dress and her beaming smile lit up the evening as she embraced her 47-year-old British fiancé.

Orlando, looking handsome in a classic tuxedo, romantically baptized Katy and gave her a sweet kiss.

The beautiful duo joined other celebrities, including Kim Kardashian and Dakota Johnson, in supporting the charity event.

Kim, Salma Hayek and Priyanka Chopra Jonas are co-hosting the Caring for Women dinner.

Other co-hosts for the evening include François-Henri Pinault, Camila Alves McConaughey, Matthew McConaughey, Carmelo Anthony, Urs Fischer, Donatella Versace, Naomi Watts and Billy Crudup.

Proceeds from the event will benefit organizations such as Girl Effect, It’s On Us and the National Network to End Domestic Violence (NNEDV).

“To give women and children the freedom to reach their potential, free from the burdens of fear, threat and trauma, it is imperative that we address the roots of violence to change behavior and heal our collective culture,” François-Henri Pinault, Salma’s husband, chairman and CEO of Kering and president of the Kering Foundation, said in a statement Thursday.

Katy and Orlando’s relationship comes after the pop star revealed she “would be dead” if she and her partner, Orlando Bloom, hadn’t taken a year-long break at the start of their relationship.

The couple started dating in 2016, but split a year later.

They reconciled in late 2018, got engaged on Valentine’s Day 2019, and welcomed their daughter Daisy Dove in August 2020.

On the Podcast Call her father With Alex Cooper, Katy, who turns 40 next month, looked back on the early stages of their relationship.

“We weren’t really in it from day one,” she said. “I mean, he was in it in a way, because he had just been celibate for a long time and he had intentions. I had just gotten out of a relationship and I was like, ‘I can’t do this anymore. I need to go swim in a different pond,’ but I still had a lot of real work to do.”

Shortly after they started dating, Orlando attended the Hoffman Institute, a personal growth retreat in California.

After his return, the couple separated. Katy later enrolled in the Hoffman Institute herself.

“I had a really tough year and towards the end of that year, when we were separated, I finally went to Hoffman’s and I got the tools and I was speaking the same language, and it changed my life,” she said.

“It saved my life. Without it, I would be dead. Without that process — and meditation — I wouldn’t be on this planet.”
