Katie Price seems worse for wear as she makes X-rated joke and swears at booing crowd after ‘taking over’ awards ceremony in Ireland

Katie Price proved you can never underestimate the Pricey when she hosted an awards ceremony on Saturday that gave her money’s worth.

The reality star, 45, was at the 2024 Gossies Awards in Dublin with her new boyfriend JJ Slater when the presenter stopped by to ask how she was doing.

Katie wasted no time grabbing the microphone from the presenter’s hand as she asked: ‘Do you want me to take over the show tonight or are you presenting? There’s only one Priceeeeeey!’

The mother-of-five then apologized to the presenter, saying: ‘You know what, sorry, did I ruin your script? That’s just me. Sorry, apparently they want me to sing live tonight too.’

Addressing the crowd, she continued, “Do you want all that? So no, you can if you want. Do you want me to sing live tonight?’

As Katie was greeted with a mixture of cheers and jeers, she continued, “I don’t care if you boo. It’s like panto. And I also got this script.”

She then switched gears to her new man and stated, “So JJ was here on Married At First Sight. He wanted to do it with me, but he’s fucking himself and doesn’t want to do it. So I have to do it myself, right?

“He got fucking married on TV, and it wasn’t real, but who knows in real life.

‘Did I take the show? I love you Ireland, thank you for having me, there are so many beautiful women here.’

Later in the evening, Katie made a very pointed joke as she took to the stage to present the award for Best Celebrity Makeup Artist.

She told the audience: ‘These nominees are the best in the world. Damn hell.

“I’m sitting in a room with Ireland’s top makeup artist nominees. I – f***ing – I’m so wet, I can’t believe it.’

Hours earlier, Katie and JJ made their red carpet debut at the event and they were questioned about their new romance.

They admitted they were pleasantly surprised by the public’s reaction to their relationship, but Katie confessed: “Mind you, everyone said he looked like my cousin today!”

JJ laughed off the comparison as he admitted, “I’ve heard it before, son, never cousin…cousin’s pretty funny, isn’t he?’

While they remained coy about how they met, Katie mused: “Not only did it happen quickly, we got to know each other behind the cameras before anyone even speculated.”

JJ rose to fame on Married At First Sight UK, where he caused controversy when he left his ‘wife’ Bianca Petronzi in favor of the bride Ella Morgan, which led to Bianca and Ella’s partner, Nathanial Valentino, leaving the social experiment.

The couple tried their best to make everything work, but it wasn’t to be, and at the final vows, both Ella and JJ revealed they thought they were better off as friends.

After photos emerged of Katie and JJ looking close to each other, sources close to Ella, 29, said the reality star, who is transgender, is furious and feels “betrayed” for becoming close friends with Katie.

Speaking about his experience on the show, JJ revealed that he was ‘obviously’ glad things didn’t work out with Ella because of the path he’s on now.

He explained: ‘I feel like everything happens for a reason, so that didn’t work out, but I met Katie like this…’

The day after their red carpet debut, Katie and JJ nursed their hangovers with a roast dinner at Conor McGregor’s pub, The Black Forge.

At the venue, Katie treated herself to a pint of lager and proudly posed with one of Conor’s many UFC belts.

The eatery proved to be a hit with the couple, with JJ taking to Instagram to share a video entering the pub with the caption: ‘what a blunder.’

Katie confirmed her romance with JJ in a gushing social media post last month.

She shared a selfie with JJ as the two socialized and wrote, “They say things happen for a reason, that the unexpected happened. Lot. Check every box.

“@johnjoeslater you have proven to me that you are a true gentleman and that you are all but me.”

JJ sweetly responded in the comments section: “Fate… thank you so much for being you.”

Katie had often talked about getting married and starting a family with ex-boyfriend Carl Woods in recent years, but she announced her split from him as she took to social media to ring in the new year with boyfriend Kerry Katona.

In addition to her recent split from Carl following the couple’s on-off relationship, Katie also has three ex-husbands, Peter Andre, Alex Reid and Kieran Hayler.

The mum-of-five shares her eldest son Harvey, 21, with Dwight Yorke, Junior, 18, and Princess, 16, with Peter, and Jett, nine, and Bunny, eight, with Kieran.

Katie has reportedly introduced her new boyfriend JJ to some of her children as the couple’s romance continues to heat up.

A source said: “Katie has already introduced JJ to her youngest children. It’s so important to her that he gets along with them as they are a huge part of her life.

“They’ve been talking for a while, but it looks like things are already getting serious.”
