Katie Price reveals her son Harvey has smashed two TVs, three windows and broken down a door at her Mucky Mansion: ‘I’ve had hardly any sleep!’

Katie Price has revealed her son Harvey destroyed two TVs, three windows and smashed a door before returning to his care home.

In a livestream on TikTok, the former glamor model, 45, confessed to a friend that she had gotten her “energy back” after Harvey went home.

Harvey, 21, is partially blind, autistic, has septo-optic dysplasia and ADHD and a learning disability.

He also has a genetic condition called Prader-Willi syndrome, which affects just 2,000 people in Britain.

Katie explained that Harvey had caused significant damage to her Mucky Mansion in West Sussex during his journey home.

While she was cutting her hair, she said on the phone, “Harvey has finally gone home after having three windows smashed, two telephoto lenses destroyed and a door he had done.

‘That wasn’t too bad this week and I hardly slept.

“So he’s back, so now I have my energy.”

In 2021, Katie revealed she had made the ‘heartbreaking’ decision to place Harvey in full-time care, and he now resides at National Star College where he is supervised 24/7.

Just two weeks ago, she said Harvey had been admitted to hospital again after suffering ear problems from hitting his head on a glass.

She said she went back and forth to the hospital to visit him, while her son “begged” to come home.

Chatting with her younger sister Sophie The Katie Price Show, Katie said, “I’m going to see Harvey today. Things aren’t going well with his ear.’

“Oh no, that’s been going on for ages,” Sophie replied.

Harvey – who Katie shares with Dwight Yorke – was also diagnosed with Prader-Willi syndrome, a genetic condition – which only 2,000 people in Britain have.

Katie also revealed that her son head-butted the car window, causing a crack in his head and causing ear problems.

‘He cracked his head open again. He has to go to the hospital on Monday,” she explained.

‘I go to him, he keeps saying: ‘Mom, come over’. And then when I go, he says “can you take me home”.

‘He wants to come home. So in a week, when I get back, I’ll take him home for a few days.”

Katie shares sons Junior, 17, and Princess, 16, with famous singer Peter Andre. She shares Jett, nine, and Bunny, eight, with her ex Kieran Hayler.

In December, Katie revealed that Harvey smashed her windscreen after a visitor slammed it while filming for her Channel 4 home show.

“Harvey broke my windshield yesterday because someone slammed it shut. That’s what triggers him,” she told the Sunday Times in a candid interview. She added: ‘I have nothing to hide.’

Katie explained: ‘My Mucky Mansion, they’ve been filming here since July, they film wherever they want and I’m happy, because I am who I am, welcome to my home, I love filming, I love sharing, I Love just love it.’

In 2017, Harvey spent three months in hospital after burning himself while running a bath with boiling water.

Prader-Willi syndrome causes problems including the constant urge to eat, limited growth, and decreased muscle tone.

It is caused by a defect in chromosome number 15 and although there is no cure, parents are encouraged to encourage children to eat a healthy diet to control symptoms.

WHAT IS PRADER-WILLI SYNDROME?

Prader-Willi syndrome is a rare genetic condition that causes problems including a constant urge to eat food, limited growth and reduced muscle tone.

Other possible problems include learning difficulties, a lack of sexual development, and behavioral problems such as tantrums or stubbornness.

The rare condition, which affects one in 15,000 children born in England, is caused by a defect on chromosome number 15 – and happens by chance.

Because there is no cure, treatment is aimed at controlling symptoms – with parents of sufferers urged to encourage their children to eat a healthy, balanced diet.

Children with the syndrome can eat up to six times more than children of the same age – and still be hungry.

It was first described in 1956 by Swiss doctors A Prader, A Labhart and H Willi.
