Katie Price is selling her new £60k Hummer for a bargain price

Katie Price sells her £60,000 Hummer for a bargain price.

The news comes after she was photographed ‘with an unregistered number plate’ two days after getting her driver’s license back after a two-year driving ban.

Katie, 44, had been banned from driving following a drink and cocaine car crash in September 2020, which ended earlier this month.

Photos of the Hummer have now been posted online on car trading site Auto Trader for a bargain price of £28,995 amid its £3.25 million bankruptcy case.

The day before, photos emerged of Katie behind the wheel of her Hummer that appeared to be using an unregistered license plate – when she started driving again after a two-year driving ban.

The former glamor model had been criticized for riding in rubber sliders that have no backrest.

Katie was slapped with a 16-week suspended sentence and banned from the road in 2021 after admitting to driving under the influence of alcohol while disqualified and without insurance, following an accident near her home in Sussex.

She had overturned her car on the B2135 near Horsham on 28 September while driving to meet a friend. Price immediately checked into The Priory after the arrest, and has done so completed her court-appointed rehabilitation order.

Price was not allowed back on the road until Friday, and two days later she was seen driving her 15-foot black Hummer with the registration number ‘X 22 KP X’ – details of which cannot be found in the government’s vehicle investigation database, which suggests it may be illegal.

The plate is also on sale, with different spacing between the letters – ‘X22 KPX’ – for £499 on the government’s DVLA registry website.

Price had been seen being picked up in a black Hummer that used a different number plate two weeks earlier, on April 3. The plate on the vehicle was first registered with the DVLA in November 2007 and carries a current MOT.

A Price representative has been contacted for comment.

Her sister Sophie told MailOnline: “We are delighted that the team at MailOnline took the time to go on the government website to check Kate’s number plate.”

Drivers can be fined up to £1,000 and their vehicle will fail the MOT if they drive with incorrectly displayed number plates.

The penalty for using an unmodified driver’s license from another vehicle, according to government guidelines, should be a fine consisting of ‘100% of relevant weekly income’.

Using a counterfeit or modified license for your own use can also result in a fine.

But vehicle fraud or registration fraud is anyway a crime that can lead to a prison sentence of two years if tried on indictment.

In December 2021, Price offered a fawning apology after avoiding jail for her drug and drink-induced car accident.

She said she was “incredibly sorry” and that she was working hard to deal with her mental health issues.

She said: “It’s been a very difficult time and I’m incredibly sorry for my actions – I’m genuinely thankful no one was hurt.”

The mother of five added: “I spend time getting better – mental health is a hidden disease and can strike at any time.”

In December 2021, Katie issued a rude apology after avoiding jail for her drug and drink-induced car accident

Campaigners were furious after she left court at the time, despite crashing her Range Rover near her home in Sussex in September while on her fifth driving ban.

She told police at the scene, “I did drugs. I shouldn’t be driving. I admit it all.”

But she escaped with a 16-week suspended sentence for drunk driving after going into rehab.

Katie crashed her BMW while double the drink-driving limit after leaving her house to allegedly hunt for drugs during a late-night alcohol and cocaine binge and was subsequently arrested before pleading guilty in court.

The model did not have a driver’s license at the time after being banned for two years in October 2019 – and has been banned from the road a total of six times.

The three charges were operating a motor vehicle in a public place without third-party insurance; driving while unable to drive due to drink; and driving while disqualified. Katie was taken to hospital but is not believed to have been seriously injured.

The star is mum to Junior, 16, and Princess, 14, who she shares with Peter Andre, as well as Jett, eight, and Bunny, seven, with ex-husband Kieran Hayler and Harvey, 18, with Dwight Yorke.

Last week, Katie evaded a court hearing for the fifth time to answer questions about her £3.2 million debt.

She was expected to appear in person at bankruptcy court in London at noon today and be asked to explain how she intends to pay off her creditors.

The hearing was scheduled to continue another week early, but court officials revealed that the case had been postponed at the last minute and a new date for July has now been agreed.

The reality star – who has been on holiday twice in recent weeks, including a trip to Thailand in March – will be asked to reveal how much money she will make when she finally faces the music.

She has been avoiding being grilled in person since November 2021 and today’s scheduled hearing was rescheduled from February.
