Just hours after her court appearance, Katie posted a message of support on her Instagram stories that was originally posted by Jedward
“Please be sensitive, she is a human being and mother with a huge heart and deserves respect. I send strength to her children and family.”
A second message that followed continued: ‘A true icon who has been through a lot and we must all support her in this vulnerable time!
“No one else could handle the pressure and the scrutiny! Let’s all surround Katie with Love.”
The former glamour model seemed to agree with the kind message and was quick to share it with her own 2.7 million followers.
During the hearing, Deputy Judge Daniel Schaffer of the Insolvency and Companies Court ordered the model to “commit” to the court, saying she would attend another hearing on August 27 at 10:30 a.m. to answer questions about her finances.
He said, ‘You must attend that date, without any ifs or buts, without going abroad, without going on holiday.’
Katie confirmed that she understood she had to attend, later saying, “I’ll move my schedule around for that.”
The X Factor stars jumped to their pal’s defense, sharing a number of photos of the trio together, as well as a paragraph of text

Katie’s dramatic arrest came after she missed a bankruptcy hearing in Turkey to undergo a £10,000 facelift.
The former glamour model was taken into custody at a west London police station and released on bail by a magistrate a few hours later ahead of her court appearance on Friday morning.
She walked in through the main entrance, dressed in a beige outfit and a black head covering to hide her injuries caused by the facelift.
Judge Schaffer revoked the arrest warrant issued against her by another judge on July 30, after she failed to appear at an earlier hearing.
The warrant was originally issued by a judge after she failed to appear at a hearing over her massive £760,000 debt.
Katie previously said she was “not running away from the case” but that she was “working on a documentary about corrective surgery” during the trial.
In a now-deleted statement on Instagram, Katie wrote: “I am aware that I am about to be detained at the airport, which is obviously what the courts see fit.
“I hope of course for my son who is with me that they allow some dignity and protection, at least for him, because this will be extremely distressing for him to see. While I understand the importance and seriousness of the matter, I feel like I am being treated like a criminal.”

The mother-of-five, who lives in Sussex, failed to appear in court on July 30 as part of her £760,000 bankruptcy proceedings. Instead, she flew to Turkey on holiday for her sixth facelift, staying in a five-star hotel where she paid £133 a night.
Katie knew she would be detained at the airport but had asked police to give Harvey “some dignity and protection”, claiming it would be “extremely distressing for him to see”.
In a statement posted to Instagram earlier this week, Katie claimed she was in Turkey to film a documentary.
Speaking about her son Harvey, the model asked authorities to “at least give him some dignity and protection because it’s going to be extremely upsetting for him to see this.”
While Katie acknowledged the “seriousness” of the matter, she said she was treated “like a criminal” and stated that the “unfortunate financial circumstances” did not make her a “criminal or bad person.”
