Kerry added: ’25 years of friendship and we broke it!! Watch this space…single on the way.”
Kerry rose to fame in 1999 alongside Natasha Hamilton and Liz McClarnon as part of the group founded by OMD members Andy McCluskey and Stuart Kershaw.
She left Atomic Kitten, famous for their single Whole Again, in 2001 and was replaced by Jenny Frost until they split in 2006, but the original line-up returned as part of ITV2’s The Big Reunion in 2012.
Kerry then left again and Jenny rejoined her bandmates in 2021 to release a reworked version of their signature song in support of England at UEFA Euro 2020.
In 2023, Kerry made a heartbreaking plea to her ex-bandmates, insisting they could put their ongoing feud to bed so they could be friends again.
Kerry wrote in her new! magazine column “life is too short” and she is “really sad” that she no longer talks to her band.
She wrote, “When something like this happens it reveals how I feel about my relationship with the Atomic Kitten girls.
“It’s really sad that we’re not talking. I contacted them so many times. Life is too short.’

Earlier this year she risked the wrath of the other ladies when she sang several of the groups’ hits while taking the stage solo at the NPT festival.
Kerry performed their iconic hit Whole Again to a bustling crowd of fans.
Katie previously poked fun at Kerry, claiming ‘you can’t even sing’.
Katie said on Flex FM radio in 2019: ‘I always take the mick out of Kerry and say, “Kerry, you can’t even sing!”.
Katie also enjoys singing in front of an audience, often performing her 2017 song I Got U on her Katie Price show.
Katie is no stranger to showing off her singing skills when she previously tried to represent Great Britain at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2005.
The mother of five participated in the Making Your Mind Up selection competition, but lost to Javine with the Song Touch My Fire.
She and her then-husband Peter Andre also released a cover of the song A Whole New World in 2006, which reached number 12 on the charts.
They also released a collaboration album of the same name that year, which reached number 20 on the charts and was certified gold.
