Katie Holmes has her new movie Rare Objects plugged in New York City this week
The 44-year-old Dawson’s Creek veteran was seen on Wednesday The Drew Barrymore Show to overtake.
The brunette beauty wore a light gray blazer over a white T-shirt with two-tone jeans with silver studs and pointy silver heels.
While sitting on the couch with Barrymore, Holmes admitted that she is a huge fan of the talk show host, telling her she was an “inspiration” to her career.
Tom Cruise’s ex-wife shared that when Drew started producing her own movies, she felt like she could do the same. Barrymore has produced the hit films Never Been Kissed, Charlie’s Angels, Duplex and Fever Pitch.

“I’m such a fan of yours and everything you’ve done in your career has been an inspiration and it gives me confidence because when you started producing I was like, ‘Oh, can we do that? Women can do that? ” said Holmes, a Rare Objects producer.
Katie added, “And so thank you, you care so much.” Drew seemed to appreciate the compliment.
Drew also asked Katie about her Jingle Ball look.
Barrymore began, “You had this jingle ball look that everyone was obsessed with too. What’s the decision here, I’m so interested and I feel like a lot of people are debating it.”
Katie explained: “Yeah it’s like a corset and so I put it on with jeans, and I knew I wanted to dance there because I was going with my cousins, so I put on my sneakers and I thought I looked cool looked.
“I felt cool, I felt great.”
But then she got a lot of criticism online.
“I woke up the next morning and thought, ‘Oh my God,'” she said.
