Katie Holmes has revealed she still ‘keeps in touch’ with the cast of Dawson’s Creek, but admitted she didn’t know she was in a WhatsApp group with them because she ‘never checks her messages’.
The actress, 45, played Joey Potter in the beloved television series that ran from 1998 to 2003.
Speak with The times she responded when she was told that her former co-star Joshua Jackson is part of the group to which she responded: “Um…really? No! We all text sometimes, but I didn’t know WhatsApp.
‘But you know what? I’m really bad at WhatsApp. I never check it because it’s a bit too much. I mean, every now and then. Everyone is grown up and busy, but the bond will always be there.’
Joshua, 45, played her love interest Pacey Witter on the show.

Elsewhere in the chat, she revealed the one thing she stole from the set of the hit television series.
She revealed: ‘I did it. I kept the sneakers she wore in the first episode of the first season. They were little black and white sneakers that I thought embodied the character.”
Elsewhere, Katie revealed that her 18-year-old daughter Suri often steals her clothes, as she said in the rare interview on Sunday.
The fashion icon – who shares Suri with her ex-husband Tom Cruise, 61, – admitted that sometimes ‘basics’ in her wardrobe ‘definitely disappear’.
She added that even though her teen wants to borrow some pieces every now and then, she still “has her own sense of style.”
When asked if she would pass on her wardrobe to Suri, she said: “Uh, of course. I mean, I’ve kept a few things here and there. But she has her own sense of style and her own expressions.”
Suri is currently taking the summer off before heading to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in the fall to study at Carnegie Mellon University.
Despite coming from two of the biggest stars in the world, Suri doesn’t seem to want to follow the path that so many Hollywood fake babies have trod by forging her own career on the big or small screen.

Suri will graduate from high school this month and then prepare for college in the fall, where she will reportedly study fashion.
Carnegie Mellon’s School of Design is one of the nation’s oldest and most highly regarded programs.
An insider told DailyMail.com: ‘She’s a smart girl and she’s turning into a very intelligent, mature young woman. She has a very close group of loyal friends and knows exactly where she comes from.’
But while Holmes is proud of her daughter’s amazing achievement, sources say she is “overwhelmed” at the thought of sending her little girl to college.

While Suri may not have all of her future plans crystallized yet, one thing about her future is clear: her Scientologist father Tom will have no role in it.

“He doesn’t exist for Katie or Suri, and his daughter won’t rely on him for anything. She feels like she has one parent and that’s her mother.’
Suri celebrated her 18th birthday in April, meaning the Top Gun star will no longer have to pay child support to Katie, an amount that reportedly amounted to a hefty $400,000 per year.
