The 44-year-old actress looked casual in comfortable clothes as she made her way through the bustling streets of the Big Apple.

The artist, who recently spoke about a potential Dawson’s Creek reboot, opted for a tan sweater worn over a white T-shirt during the outing.

Holmes also wore beige cargo pants that contrasted with tricolor Adidas Samba sneakers.

The Batman Begins actress wore fashionable sunglasses and held a leather bag over her right arm.

Holmes’ most recent appearance in a movie was in Rare Objects, which was released last April.

The film is based on Kathleen Tessaro’s novel of the same name, which was originally published in 2016.

The story revolves around a young woman who tries to regain control of her turbulent life while working in an antique shop.

The cast of the feature film was completed by Alan Cumming, Derek Luke and Julia Mayorga.

In addition to directing the film, the Dawson’s Creek actress also co-wrote the screenplay and was one of the producers.

The feature was released on April 14 and received mixed to negative reviews from critics, earning it a 44% rating on Rotten tomatoes.

Holmes spoke about working on Rare Objects during an interview with IndieWirewhere she said she pushed herself harder as a performer to get back into the director’s chair during her time on set.

Holmes also discussed her affinity for serving as both a cast member and a director on a single project.

“I feel like what’s great about the creative process of making a movie is that you put everything, every part of yourself into it, all the time…I think it’s kind of exciting actually,” she said. .
