Katie Holmes was spotted in New York City this past weekend having a lively conversation on her cell phone while carrying multiple bags.
The 45-year-old Dawson’s Creek star smiled and giggled during her phone call.
Katie wore a casual, loose-fitting, lavender and white striped button-up blouse and wide-leg jeans with a crease down the middle of each leg.
She had her long brown hair gathered in a ponytail and wore aviator sunglasses and white sneakers.
Katie, whose only child Suri Noelle is currently studying in Pittsburgh, is currently starring in a revival of the play Our Town on Broadway.

The mother of one has been able to focus entirely on rehearsals for Our Town over the past month since Suri left for Carnegie Mellon University.
In addition to Holmes as Mrs. Webb, the cast also includes Jim Parsons as stage manager and Zoey Deutch will play Emily Webb.
Directed by Kenny Leon, the cast of 28 actors also includes Richard Thomas (Mr. Webb), Ephraim Sykes (George Gibbs), Billy Eugene Jones (Dr. Gibbs) and Julie Halston.
Wilders’ popular 1938 drama is a story about life and death and appreciating “every, every minute” in between, reports New York Theater Guide.
It’s been over 20 years since Katie Pacey’s Joey Potter was chosen over Dawson on Dawson’s Creek.
Despite this, Joshua Jackson, who played Pacey Witter on the beloved teen drama, has some ideas about what Joey and Pacey might do next.
“I think he would raise her children, if she were to pursue her dreams. I think that’s the way it went,” he said E! News at the premiere of Doctor Odyssey.
However, fans shouldn’t get their hopes up too much for a Dawson’s Creek reboot, as Holmes and Jackson have previously stated their opposition to such a thing.
