The Dawson’s Creek alum, who recently split from boyfriend Bobby Wooten III, wore a sleek black leather coat and metallic silver pumps.
The 44-year-old mother-of-one changed into her top and pants after stopping by Good Morning America to promote her upcoming off-Broadway show, The Wanderers.

For her appearance on the morning talk show, the actress wore sparkly, wide-legged pants in champagne tones.
Holmes, known for her elegant and understated style, paired the striking pants with a white button-down shirt over a black tank top.
She wore her textured top undone as she sat down for a quick segment with ABC’s Lara Spencer.
When she left for her morning interview, Katie was carrying a small, square-shaped, fern-green bag.

On the way to the promotional part, the star, who was previously married to Tom Cruise, added a pair of sheer black pantyhose.
Holmes added to her 5-foot-9 height with her pointy, reflective wedge heels, which complemented the sparkle of her pants.
Her makeup was complete, complete with flushed cheeks, dark eyeliner, and a nude lip stain.
The Ohio-born beauty’s classic outerwear skimmed her thighs and had thick buttoned cuffs at the edge of the sleeves.

During the brief one-on-one with Spencer, Katie gushed about her latest professional endeavor.
It has been wonderful. I’m working with Barry Edelstein, our director, and this wonderful cast and we’re figuring it out,” he noted of rehearsing for the show.
Katie continued: ‘I love this play. Very complex characters [it] really explores human discontent.’
“But in the end, you leave the play: there’s a line about ‘living in your miracle’. We’re all living in a miracle,” he explained.

Playwright Anna Ziegler’s work begs the question: “Can we be happy with what we have while we have it?” according to the Roundabout Theater Company website.
“It’s beautifully written and I love working with the actors I’m working with and it’s wonderful to be on stage,” added the filmmaker.
In the show, which premieres January 26 and continues through March, Katie plays a movie star named Julia Cheever.
“What I find interesting is that this woman falls in love with a famous author,” the star explained of the character.
“She is a woman who is lucky to have a great career and a family, and to balance all of that. Y [the author] it is also And they are sharing their struggles and also their joys ”, continued the entertainer.

Holmes is newly single after ending her eight-month affair with Wooten in early December.
