Katie Holmes was the picture of elegance in a burgundy jumpsuit as she attended the Blink Twice screening on New York’s Lower East Side on Thursday.
The 45-year-old Dawson’s Creek star has been spotted out and about frequently this week, after dropping off her daughter Suri Cruise, 18, at her dorm room at the prestigious Carnegie Mellon University on Monday.
Katie looked stunning in the short-sleeved suit with trendy white lines and appeared in a cheerful mood as she headed to the film screening.
To add a touch of nonchalance to her outfit, the actress paired her ensemble with shiny black ballet flats.
Katie went all out with her accessories, slinging a large brown bucket bag over her shoulder and shielding herself with a pair of red-flecked sunglasses.

She attended the screening of Blink Twice, Zoe Kravit’s directorial debut, in which her fiancé Channing Tatum plays tech billionaire Slater King who meets cocktail waitress Frida (Naomi Ackie).
Katie is relearning how to navigate life after moving to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, earlier this week with her look-alike daughter, who is in her first grade.
Meanwhile, her ex-husband Tom Cruise, 62, is busy working on Mission: Impossible 8, after taking part in the closing ceremony of the Paris Olympics last week.

Katie has hinted that Suri may be taking acting and dance classes at Carnegie Mellon.
Katie told Town & Country magazine that her daughter wants to go into show business after college.
According to the magazine, Suri is said to be ‘interested in a career in fashion or acting.’
That doesn’t sound too strange, considering Suri starred in a high school production of The Addams Family.
Katie has already cast Suri in two of her films.
Suri has sung on songs in two of Holmes’ films: the 2023 drama Rare Objects and the 2022 romantic drama Alone Together.
“I’m proud of my daughter,” Holmes told Town & Country about her daughter.
