Although she has experimented with a nose ring a number of times in the past, she did not wear the adornment during her latest outing.
In her current acting, she plays a woman in small-town New Hampshire at the turn of the 20th century, a setting in which a nose ring would seem out of place.
With temperatures dropping as autumn progresses, Katie bundled up in a colour-blocked jacket with a zip-up over a cozy-looking off-white turtleneck.

The Dawson’s Creek alumna let her dark hair fall loose over her shoulders and accessorized her ensemble with a shiny pair of aviators.
Katie, who has an 18-year-old daughter named Suri Cruise by Tom, modeled voluminous baggy jeans and a bulging leather handbag.
Her latest appearance comes as she continues her role in the Broadway revival of Thornton Wilder’s critically acclaimed 1938 play Our Town, in a cast that also includes The Big Bang Theory star Jim Parsons and Zombieland: Double Tap actress Zoey Deutch.
The revival opened last month at the Ethel Barrymore Theater and was greeted with lukewarm response from the critical fraternity.
In a one and a half star review the New York Post accused the production of “drippy sentimentality” and argued: “Scenes are simultaneously overacted – like an old park – and underacted, without any credible or grounded moment.”
However, the revival was praised for its “beauty”, its “fine cast” and its “fast-paced and unsentimental direction” by the New York Times.
Katie’s Broadway comeback comes on the heels of her daughter Suri attending Carnegie Mellon after graduating from New York’s famed LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts earlier this year.
The high school, which is said to have inspired the movie Fame, has produced a formidable array of celebrities over the years.

After graduating high school, Suri now attends the prestigious college Carnegie Mellon, where she reportedly “leans towards” studying fashion.
