Katie Holmes goes braless in sexy dress at CFDA Fashion Awards after sending Suri Cruise back off to college

Katie Holmes went braless in a striking ensemble as she attended the star-studded 2024 CFDA Fashion Awards in New York City on Monday.

The 45-year-old Dawson’s Creek alum — who recently shared a rare photo posing with her three sisters — joined other celebrities at the event, including Blake Lively and Kylie Jenner.

Holmes glowed in a pink and red-orange long-sleeved dress from the Carolina Herrera Spring/Summer 2025 collection.

The outfit had small cutouts on the sides and fell down to her ankles. A small slit could be seen on the back, as well as a long, black bow.

The teen is currently in the middle of her first semester at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, studying fashion, while her father, Tom Cruise, pays her $65,000 tuition.

Katie was previously married to the Top Gun actor from 2006 until their divorce in 2012.

Written by Thornton Wilder, the play has returned to the Broadway stage for the first time in more than twenty years.

The revival features a total of 28 actors, including Holmes, Jim Parsons, Zoey Deutch, Ephraim Sykes, Julie Halston and Michelle Wilson.

The premise follows the “timeless story of a small town” in which “a director narrates the daily lives of locals, depicts a childhood friendship that turns into marriage, and sets the stage for beautiful truths about what it means to be alive,” according to the official Broadway website.

Previews began on Tuesday, September 17 at the Barrymore Theater, with dates through January 19, 2025.
