Autumn is only a few days away.
And Katie Holmes had a vision of fall fashion when she attended Through Her Lens: The Tribeca Chanel Women’s Filmmaker Program Luncheon in New York on Tuesday.
Dressed in billowy jeans and a beige cardigan, the actress, 43, was the epitome of sweater weather style as she formed a storm on the red carpet.

Dawson’s Creek alum looked gorgeous with her dark brown locks falling down in loose waves and a touch of makeup touching up her naturally glowing complexion.
She showed her edgy side with a delicate nose ring.
The beauty also carried her belongings around in style in a quilted Chanel bag that hung over her body.
To complete the look, Katie rocked a pair of shiny flats with a slight heel.

When Katie is not busy attending red carpet events, she has focused her efforts on her directorial role Alone Together.
The film premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival in April and was released in late July.
The project was a joint affair, as Katie previously revealed that her daughter Suri Cruise, 16, sang a cover of Richard Rodgers and Lorenz Hart’s 1934 classic, Blue Moon, for the film.

“Well, I always want the highest level of talent, so I asked her,” Katie said Yahoo! entertainment in July.
‘She’s very talented. She said she would, and she recorded it, and I let her do her thing. That’s the way I generally direct. It’s like, “This is what we all want, I guess, and then go do your thing.”‘
She added: ‘She actually sang on Rare Objects, that’s the movie we made [past] fall. She is also a 16-year-old child who is going to secondary school.’
Katie also wrapped up her third directorial effort last year, Rare Objects, an indie film about a traumatized woman who works in an antique store.
