Thornton Wilder’s critically acclaimed 1938 play is being revived on Broadway with a cast including Katie, Jim Parsons and Zoey Deutch.
When she popped up in town this week, Katie, 45, demonstrated her winning street style by throwing a deep green cardigan over a flowy white blouse.
She paired the top with a set of fashionably faded jeans, tortoiseshell accessories and a large quilted handbag.
Tom Cruise’s ex-wife pulled her wavy dark hair back into a ponytail and brought out her glowing complexion with makeup.

Katie began previews for Our Town on September 17, but the production won’t officially premiere until Thursday evening at the Barrymore Theater.
The show originally ran on Broadway in 1938 and became an instant classic on the American stage, winning the Pulitzer Prize for Drama.
The groundbreaking metagame, narrated by a director, revolves around small town life in New Hampshire at the turn of the 20th century.
Amid a Spartan setting, characters break the fourth wall, travel back in time and even return from beyond the grave.
Katie, who shares an 18-year-old daughter named Suri with her ex-husband Tom Cruise, is making her big return to Broadway after 12 years.
The last time she appeared in The Great White Way was in the 2012 comedy play Dead Accounts, also starring Judy Greer and Wicked heartthrob Norbert Leo Butz.
Meanwhile, Our Town has had a series of revivals on Broadway since 1938, most recently in 2002 with a cast led by Paul Newman.
Katie’s Broadway comeback comes on the heels of her daughter Suri attending Carnegie Mellon after graduating from New York’s famed LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts earlier this year.

The high school, which is said to have inspired the movie Fame, has produced a formidable array of celebrities over the years.
Notable alumni range from Al Pacino and Liza Minnelli to Jennifer Aniston and Adrien Brody to newer faces like Ansel Elgort and Timothee Chalamet.
Nicki Minaj, Azealia Banks and Awkwafina all attended LaGuardia High School, as did Madonna’s eldest daughter Lourdes Leon.
After graduating high school, Suri now attends the prestigious college Carnegie Mellon, where she reportedly “leans towards” studying fashion.
“She’s a smart girl and she’s turning into a very intelligent, mature young woman,” an insider recently revealed to DailyMail.com. ‘She has a very close group of loyal friends and she knows exactly where she comes from.’
Suri’s mother, on the other hand, was said to be “overwhelmed” at the prospect of Suri going to Pittsburgh for college. “Katie is very proud of her, but is also extremely overprotective,” a source said.
Katie, who shot to fame in teen drama Dawson’s Creek, started dating Tom in 2005 and got engaged to him seven weeks into their relationship.
Their Scientologist wedding was held at the Castello Orsini-Odescalchi in Bracciano in November 2006, seven months after Suri’s birth.
Katie was pictured last month at a photo shoot for her Our Town revival alongside her co-star Jim Parsons, who shot to fame as Sheldon in The Big Bang Theory
Katie filed for divorce in 2012 which was finalized just ten days later, with Katie retaining primary custody of Suri while Tom received visitation, via People.
Ron Miscavige, father of Scientology leader David Miscavige, told MailOnline in 2016 that Katie’s doubts about Scientology – including the effect it could have on Suri – contributed to her decision to leave Tom.
The Top Gun Maverick star reportedly paid Katie $400,000 a year until Suri’s 18th birthday, and will now send money for her college tuition.
Tom has not been photographed with his daughter for eleven years and in 2018 it was claimed that he had created distance between himself and Suri.
“Everyone can see their child if they want to,” says an insider We weekly. “He chooses not to because she’s not a Scientologist.”
