Katie Holmes was spotted for the first time since her ex-boyfriend Jamie Foxx made an offensive comment about being ‘cured’ from dating white women.
On Sunday, the 45-year-old actress put on a brave face as she flashed a tight smile as she walked through the busy streets of New York City in a bright green Elphaba-inspired coat.
At one point she even stopped to pose for a Wicked music poster.
She carried a huge bouquet of flowers as she headed to the Ethel Barrymore Theater for her matinee performance of the Broadway play Our Town.
Her outing comes just days after Foxx’s special What Had Happened Was… dropped on Netflix. It contained a dark reference to their six-year romance.
Sitting at a piano, the Hollywood star sang, “Sisters, I am here to tell you that I am healed.
‘I’m cured of everything, no more white girls. I’m serious, no more white girls. No more white girls. Not anymore. No more white girls.”

She continued, “I remember being at this age, this time of beginnings. It’s exciting to get to know yourself, and I loved that time, so it makes me happy to think about it that way.”
