The 45-year-old filmmaker — who was spotted by herself last week — and the 17-year-old high school student enjoyed a laugh as they strolled through the Big Apple.
Holmes wore chic vintage sunglasses with ombre-tinted lenses and black frames.
She wore a blue denim jacket with a tan collar and layered it over a red crew neck sweater.
Meanwhile, her only child, only mini-me, wore light blue jeans and brown cowboy boots.

Suri, whose estranged father is actor Tom Cruise, also wore her dark hair loose and arranged in a center parting.
The talented young woman, who sometimes sings in her mother’s projects, wore a light brown coat with an ivory linear pattern and a sheepskin lining.
Holmes married the 64-year-old Mission Impossible star in 2006 before filing for divorce in 2012.
Since then, she has had custody of Suri, who has reportedly not been in a relationship with her father since 2013.
