Kathy Hilton got emotional as she talked about how she and Kyle Richards managed to reconcile after their explosive feud on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

After not speaking for months following their series' tense reunion and Hilton's meltdown during a season 12 cast trip to Aspen last year, the 64-year-old socialite revealed to Page six how they repaired their relationship ahead of their niece Whitney Davis' wedding in June.

While the sisters were both getting ready for Davis' big day on June 24, they fatefully ran into each other at a “very quiet” salon in Aspen.

When she saw her older sibling come in, Hilton said Richards let out a joyful scream and excitedly told the woman washing her hair that her sister had just arrived.

“She says, 'Oh, there's my sister!' Hilton recalls. “And I was literally like… it made me feel good… I hadn't seen her yet. But she was so excited to tell the person, so it made me feel good.”

Remembering the moment they buried the hatchet, the mother of four became teary-eyed and choked up.

The revelation was made Tuesday during DIRECTV Celebrates Christmas at Kathy's party at her $55 million Bel-Air mansion.

Kathy and Kyle stopped talking after Hilton reportedly told former costar Lisa Rinna that she would ruin Kyle during an off-camera meltdown in February 2022.

During a cast trip to Aspen, Hilton became angry with fellow castmate Lisa Rinna when she ordered Kendall Jenner's 818 Tequila instead of her own brand Casa Del Sol.

Hilton's excitement only seemed to get worse after the group decided to go to another club later that night, for which Rinna sent the Paris In Love alum into an “absolute meltdown” away from the cameras, which she complained about her ups and downs. with Richards.

In July, the ladies resolved their differences and even took part in a karaoke night to sing Sister Sledge's classic hit We Are Family together.

While Richards starred in all thirteen seasons of RHOBH, which premiered in 2010, Hilton recently left the show after serving as a guest star for six of the first ten seasons.

She appeared most often as a 'friend' of the cast for seasons 11 and 12.

Their sister Kim, who left RHOBH after the show's fifth season in 2015, and Kyle have also had a controversial relationship over the years, but they are also now on friendly terms.
