Kathy Hilton appeared to lack situational awareness when she found herself in the middle of a model’s path on a fashion show runway Monday night.
The 65-year-old Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills star was there to support her co-star Sutton Stracke at her show in Los Angeles, but she appeared to interrupt the runway show to chat with Erika Jayne’s mother, Renee Chahoy.
A video originally posted by Jadon Medina on Instagram showed Kathy, who recently supported her sister Kyle Richards, standing and leaning forward as she spoke to Chahoy, who was seated at the very end of the front row.
Erika’s mother grabbed Kathy’s hand, as if to pull her away from the center of the runway. She seemed to drift toward it, as the towering model Whizdom Williams rounded the corner and headed straight for her.
Whizdom moved slightly to the side to avoid knocking Kathy over, but she tapped her on the shoulder. The seemingly unconscious reality made her turn her head and a shocked expression appeared on her face.

Kyle looked shocked and then embarrassed as the model tapped her on the shoulder and paraded past her, and other people in the audience could be heard wondering loudly what she was in the way.
The model grinned from ear to ear after the embarrassing moment, while Kathy looked around shyly.
Co-star Kyle Richards’ half-sister then appeared to follow Whizdom down the runway to get out of the way of any other models, but she was careful to stay as close to the edge of the path as possible.
It’s unclear how long Kathy had been on her way to victory, but at the beginning of the video a woman can be heard screaming, “What just happened?!”
On social media, RHOBH and Kathy fans laughed at her mistake, but also criticized her for being “rude” and stealing the show at her co-star Sutton’s event.
“Kathy Hilton is always rude and annoying. She thinks she is someone named Hilton,” wrote person on X (formerly Twitter).
“That’s so rude and not funny,” someone else agreed.
Another person was shocked that she could behave with so little “decorum” when she was “invited and involved in a lot of events, fashion shows, charity parties, etc.”
Others praised the model for the elegant way he handled the situation.
“Honestly, I don’t blame the model at all. And she did it with a smile,” one fan joked.
Someone else wrote, “That model will never work in Los Angeles again,” but that was probably a joke.
One fan was convinced that Kathy’s performance was intentional and meant for RHOBH since the show was still on. They questioned whether Kathy could normally be so ignorant.

Kathy looked absolutely elegant at the event in a long black dress with sleeves that reached just past her elbows.
She wore a semi-sheer maxi skirt and wore a huge clover-shaped gold necklace with thick chains attached to it.
It was a big event for housewives and she was joined at the show by her sister Kyle Richards, who styled her in a plunging white suit, along with Dorit Kemsley, Erika Jayne and Garcel Beauvais, whose son Jaid, 16, made his catwalk debut at the fashion show.
She also got the chance to meet new Housewives Bozoma Saint John and Jennifer Tilly, who rocked a voluptuous striped cardigan as she posed with Kathy on the red carpet.
