It seems Kathy Griffin related to another medical problem.
On Sunday, the comedian and actress had to undergo a medical procedure at least part of her Easter holiday.
‘Happy Easter???’ she began, with more than a hint of sarcasm, in the caption of an Instagram photo. “Getting an MRI.”
While MRIs (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) are a common procedure to diagnose non-life-threatening injuries such as torn muscles and ligaments, they are also used to detect more serious health problems such as tumors and a range of conditions that can affect body organs.
And another added concern is Griffin’s lung cancer diagnosis in August 2021, despite not being a smoker, which led to her undergoing surgery later that same month to remove half of her left lung.
Health issues: Kathy Griffin, 62, took to her Instagram page to reveal that she had to spend part of her Easter in a medical facility to get an MRI
In the photo posted on social media, Griffin can be seen sitting in the medical facility, all wrapped up in a white blanket with a black protective mask over her mouth and nose as a precaution.

Pulp Fiction actress Rosanna Arquette expressed her concern by writing, “What’s up?” Is everything all right. I love you,” as Will & Grace star Debra Messing wrote simply, Honey!”

Last February, Griffin also took to Instagram to reveal that she was being treated for psoriatic arthritis.
“Remacaid infusion day for my psoriatic arthritis. Oh boy,” the 62-year-old wrote in the caption, alongside a photo of her in hospital wearing a black protective mask over her mouth and nose.
Psoriatic arthritis is a form of arthritis related to psoriasis, a chronic skin and nail disease. It is similar to rheumatoid arthritis (RA) in symptoms and joint swelling (inflammation), but tends to affect fewer joints than RA, according to the Johns Hopkins Medicine website.

Griffin took to her Instagram page and confessed that she would “do anything to get my voice back” in an emotional video posted just before the procedure.
In September, the Oak Park, Illinois resident revealed that she had been working on getting her voice back after her lung cancer treatment.
During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! she had a higher voice as a result of the treatments.
“My voice has taken some damage,” she told Kimmel, before showing off her comedic streak. “But I’m fine, it doesn’t hurt… and the most important thing is that my breasts are still fantastic,” she said, shaking her chest, provoking cheers from the audience.

Cancer Diagnosis: In August 2021, Griffin provided an update on her lung cancer diagnosis
Her voice problems came in the wake of her years of recovery after she revealed she had stage one lung cancer, despite never having smoked cigarettes.
Within three months of her August 2021 diagnosis, Griffin would be declared cancer-free.
She also suffered “a bunch of injuries” when she felt herself walking down a flight of stairs during a period in her life when she attempted suicide.
It happened when she was admittedly addicted to pills after the backlash she received after posing with a gory effigy of then-President Donald Trump in 2017.
“I tried to commit suicide and ended up in the psych ward,” Kathy said while appearing on The New York Times podcast Sway.
She explained that she felt adrift after being “cancelled” and losing all of her performances in the wake of the controversy.
Griffin said her two suicide attempts convinced her to get help and embrace sobriety.
