Kathy Griffin leans on pal Jane Fonda for comfort after filing for divorce from Randy Bick ahead of fourth wedding anniversary: ‘My heart is broken’

Kathy Griffin turned to an old friend for comfort as she dealt with the demise of her marriage.

The actress, 63, who filed for divorce from Randy Bick, shared a sweet photo with girlfriend Jane Fonda on social media on Sunday.

The comedian sits at a table with her arm around the Oscar winner, 86.

'My friends are going to help me through this. Last night I had to use the bat phone,” the Cursed Friends actress wrote.

The funny lady told her followers about their dialogue and wrote: 'I…“Fonda, it's Griffin. My heart is broken. I can't eat, I can't sleep.”

“Jane… “Come on, boy. I'll make something for you. You eat and I listen.”'

Both women are wearing warm sweaters and appear makeup-free in the photos.

Kathy wears a blue and white striped Gucci vest with orange X's and G's over a white T-shirt.

Her red hair was left in natural curls with bangs in the front.

Jane wore a charcoal hoodie and her shoulder-length gray hair was brushed in loose layers.

It seems the comfort food she offered her suffering friend consisted of delicious melons, stone fruit, and perhaps a little chocolate, as there seemed to be an empty container on the table.

The Hall Pass actress cited irreconcilable differences in her divorce papers. She and her soon-to-be ex got married on New Year's Day in 2019. Jane's Grace and Frankie co-star Lily Tomlin performed the ceremony.

After seeing the photo, singer Carnie Wilson wrote, “I'm so sorry you're in pain, how wonderful it is to have that support that will get you through this, I promise baby❤️”

On Friday, after news of her divorce broke, Kathy took to social media and wrote, “Well sh*t. This sucks.”
