The pair first met on the set of American Idol in 2006 while McPhee was on the singing show.

She placed second behind Taylor Hicks.

The couple, who celebrate their fourth wedding anniversary on June 28, are now proud parents of two-year-old son Rennie.

While Rennie is the first child for McPhee, this child is number six for Foster, but the first son for the music composer and producer.

He is already a father to five adult daughters: Sara, 42, Erin, 40, and Jordan, 36, whom he shared with second wife Rebecca Dyer.

Foster also has daughters Allison, 53, and Amy, 49, from previous relationships.

In November, McPhee revealed that a glass of wine is the secret to keeping the spark alive in her marriage to Foster.

The actress who married record producer Foster in 2019 said the pair will be taking regular time to “reconnect” with each other, with the beauty indulging in a drink as they talk.
