Kate Winslet looked chic as she stepped out in Sydney on Tuesday.

The British actress, 49, was spotted leaving the Nova FM radio studios wearing an all-black ensemble.

Kate, who is in the country to promote her new film Lee, wore a blazer and teamed it with leather-look trousers and loafers.

The Academy Award winner wore her hair down and went for a natural makeup look.

Kate’s new movie is a biographical drama tells the story of the American ex-model Lee Miller who took photos of poignant moments during the Second World War for Vogue magazine.

The film also stars Josh O’Connor, Marion Cotillard, Andy Samberg and Alexander Skarsgard.

The production was a passion project for Winslet and director Ellen Kuras, with both women committed to the film even after financial difficulties.

Due to the precarious financing situation, the film took eight years to make.

At one point, Kate resorted to paying the entire cast and crew for two weeks to ensure production continued.

The actress’s public appearance comes just weeks after she admitted boosting her sex life by undergoing testosterone replacement therapy.

The beauty, who has been married to husband Edward Abel Smith (formally known as Ned ‘Rocknroll’) for 12 years, says she feels ‘sexy’ again after the treatment.

And the Titanic star encouraged other women who have seen their libido plummet to look at their testosterone levels, believing it could be the reason why they are putting off sex.

Testosterone replacement therapy (known as TPT) is a prescription treatment that helps restore testosterone levels.

The mum-of-three said: ‘Sometimes women have a real dip in libido because there might be something going on with their thyroid.

‘There may also be something going on with your testosterone level.

‘A lot of people don’t know this, but women have testosterone in their bodies, when it runs out, like eggs, it’s gone, and once it runs out you have to replace it and that’s something that can be done and you will do it . feeling sexy again…I know.’

Kate gave advice during an aunt section with mini pain in the How to Fail podcast.

A listener had asked for help to rediscover their sex drive.

Kate continued: ‘I would suggest for your physical self that you get your thyroid levels checked and your testosterone levels properly monitored as those things can have a direct impact on how you actually feel.

‘It’s not your fault, our bodies are weird and behave strangely, especially as we get older.

“So you may have a dip in those hormonal levels that is contributing a lot more than you think to how you feel about sex with your boyfriend, so I would definitely do that.”
