Why did Kate Ritchie get her personal assistant to handle the follow up of her car crash in Sydney and why did police not attend the scene?

Kate Ritchie reportedly called in her personal assistant to respond to her multi-vehicle crash in Sydney’s eastern suburbs on Wednesday afternoon, and police were not called to the scene.

The Nova 96.9 radio presenter was reportedly behind the wheel of her black 2023 BMW X5 xDrive40i when the incident unfolded in Dudley Street, Randwick.

According to eyewitness accounts, Ritchie’s BMW collided with a parked Mitsubishi Pajero, forcing it off the road and into a parked Kia.

She exchanged details with the driver before quickly leaving to pick up her nine-year-old daughter Mae, who she shares with ex-husband Stuart Webb.

No roadside sobriety test was administered and NSW Police were not on scene.

It appears the drivers will handle the matter privately and Ritchie may have to pay a hefty repair bill.

The Kia’s owner, who wished to remain anonymous, explained that Kate said her personal assistant would follow up on the matter.

All three vehicles involved suffered significant damage and were later towed from the suburban street.
