She looked effortlessly chic at brunch as she teamed her little black dress with a fur coat and boosted her figure with a pair of suede heeled ankle boots.

Kate completed the look with cat eye sunglasses with gold hoop earrings.

By her side was boyfriend Nikolai, who kept it casual in a gray sweater paired with a printed shirt and gray pants.

He completed the look with brown boots that, judging by the hole in the sole, appeared to be well-worn favorites.

Lila also kept it low key in a cropped cream sweater and wide-leg jeans which she teamed with a rugged jacket and boots.

The supermodel flew from Oxford to the French capital on a private jet carrying up to seven VIP guests, before throwing a star-studded party at the Ritz.

And it is believed Kate will be joined by famous friends including Noel Gallagher at the Ritz later in the day.

Lila was pictured carrying heavy bags from her London home before flying to Paris where she joined her famous mother for the festivities.

Earlier in the day she shared an image of the Eiffel Tower to her Instagram Story and Lila seemed excited as the build-up to the big night officially got underway.

A source told MailOnline: ‘Kate has been planning a big party at the Ritz in Paris for quite some time.

What did Kate Moss have for her birthday meal?

The supermodel had lunch at Brasserie Lipp, where they offer a range of reasonably priced meals.

Brasserie Lipp’s famous specialties include Bismark herring, brandade de morue, choucroute garnie, roast chicken, blanquette de veau and tête de veau.

The menu has remained unchanged since the 1930s, with the ‘true Parisian institution’ first opening in 1880.

Brasserie Lipp is filled with original Art Nouveau-Art Deco decorations and sponsors an annual literary prize, the Prix Cazes, for an author who has not won any other literary prize.

‘And finally the day has arrived and all her close friends and family are flying to the capital to celebrate her special day.

‘As a world-famous supermodel, no one expected anything less from Kate than to host her party at the Ritz in Paris, which is almost as fabulous as she is.

“It’s going to be a night to remember, she can’t wait to get dressed and dance the night away.”

MailOnline understands the private jet Kate flew to Paris on would have cost £10,000, with the former party girl ensuring she arrived in the City of Light in style.

Kate’s flight took off after 4pm on Monday and landed in France shortly afterwards.

A source added: ‘Kate loves the Ritz and always stays at the hotel when she’s in Paris.

“She hopes to keep her party as private as possible and she knows she can trust the staff there.”

Kate had a very different pre-birthday party with her best friends in Mustique, which involved a spiritual celebration circle on the beach.

Lila and Sadie joined her on the outing, as did former model Rosemary Ferguson, stylist Katy England, fashion casting director Jess Shallet, florist Flora Starkey and designer Jess Morris.

She posed in a bohemian black dress, flower crown and necklace and without make-up as she sat cross-legged on the white sand under the palm trees.

Mustique has been loved by the jet set since Lord Glenconner bought it in the 1960s and gave Princess Margaret a ten-acre plot of land as a wedding gift.

The small private island is a favorite of the Prince and Princess of Wales and home to rock stars Sir Mick Jagger and Bryan Adams, as well as American fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger.

The supermodel has a history of throwing epic birthday parties.

When she turned 30, she threw a “Beautiful and the Damned” themed bash, which reportedly ended in an orgy at Claridge’s hotel in London’s Mayfair.

Her 40th birthday consisted of a four-day Glastonbury-themed extravaganza at her country home in the Cotswolds.

And her 50th will be no different as Kate and her top guests descend on the Ritz, one of the most decadent hotels in Paris.

Kate entered the modeling world after being discovered at the age of 14 and rose to fame in the mid-1990s.

Her collaborations with Calvin Klein made her a household name and in 2013 she was honored at the British Fashion Awards in recognition of her contribution to the fashion industry over the course of 25 years.

Kate previously described her happy place as being on the dance floor and has since left London for the West Oxfordshire countryside, where she practices transcendental meditation and wild swims in a ‘secret spot’ that only the local villagers use.

The fashion icon also believes in the power of positive affirmations to improve one’s outlook, with ’embrace the unknown’ and ‘trust the universe and it will show the way’ being among her favourites.

Kate appeared to have put her ‘party girl’ image behind her once and for all with her relaxing getaway

Kate is now said to be embracing being tee-total 80 percent of the time, hitting the gym and starting yoga sessions.

Despite her new Gwyneth Paltrow-esque lifestyle, Kate still allows herself one vice.

“I still smoke occasionally,” she told The Sunday Times. “I heard that when you stop, you can actually tell (on your skin). But I haven’t stopped…yet.”

The model admitted she is in ‘denial’ about her upcoming 50th birthday because she doesn’t feel her age.

“I’m not going to live to be fifty,” she said. ‘No. I don’t think about it. I don’t feel fifty.’

Briefly discussing her holiday celebrations, Kate shared that she now never stays at a party past midnight, describing it as her ‘cut-off point’.
