Her sultry performance of Diamonds Are a Girl’s Best Friend, dressed in a pink satin dress and flanked by adoring male admirers, was endlessly imitated.
And 70 years after Marilyn Monroe reinvented Hollywood glamor in Gentleman Prefer Blondes, Kate Moss has recreated her look for the new Charlotte Tilbury campaign.
The supermodel, who turned 50 last week, wore a pink strapless dress – similar to William Travilla’s Mrs. Monroe creation – and elbow-length gloves, while her blonde hair was curled in 1950s-style waves.
Dripping in jewelry, Ms. Moss gave her best impression of the late movie star by throwing her arms in the air and posing next to a group of male dancers.
She was joined by supermodel Jourdan Dunn, 33, who is also a regular in Ms Tilbury’s campaigns, to promote the launch of her new Hollywood Beauty Icons lipsticks.

The glamorous new campaign was to promote the launch of its new Hollywood Beauty Icons lipsticks
A celebrity favorite, the makeup artist has studied the ‘Hollywood lip architecture’ to come up with a whole new range of shades.
“We always have so much fun dressing up on set and this campaign took it to the next level – we really embodied Hollywood icons of the past and present,” said Ms Moss.
‘I loved the Icon Baby lipstick I used during the shoot. I love a nude lip, and this is such a gorgeous nude-pink shade and feels luxurious when you apply it.
‘The Hollywood Vixen lipstick is the perfect movie star red and makes you feel like a true Hollywood icon.’
She added: ‘I always make sure I have one of Charlotte’s Lip Cheat liners in my makeup bag and I’m obsessed with the NEW one! The shades Icon Baby and Red Carpet Red paired perfectly with my Hollywood Beauty Icon lipsticks.”
Ms Tilbury was among the guests at Ms Moss’s fabulous 50th birthday party in Paris last week, with the supermodel even borrowing her friend’s vintage coat when things got a bit chilly.
She was among thirty selected guests invited to the exclusive Laurent Restaurant for an evening of dining and dancing until 2 a.m.

Ms Moss, who has been a teetotaler for more than five years and now has her own wellness brand Cosmoss, was still the last person to leave the party despite her new commitment to clean living.
Ms. Monroe cemented her status as Hollywood’s ultimate blonde bombshell with her role in Howard Hawks’ 1953 musical comedy, starring Jane Russell and Charles Coburn.
The scene in which her character, Lorelei Lee, acts alongside a group of potential suitors is considered one of the most beloved in film history.
Madonna famously imitated the scene in her 1985 music video for the song Material Girl.
