Kate Middleton is seen at Crathie Kirk for the first time since revealing her cancer diagnosis as she joins Prince William and other Royal Family members for Sunday service

The Princess of Wales is making her first visit to Crathie Kirk since announcing she has cancer earlier this year.

Kate Middleton, 42, appeared to be in high spirits as she was photographed arriving for Sunday church service with her husband William.

King and Queen Camilla, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, along with their son, and Tim Lawrence were also photographed attending the Scottish church.

Kate’s last public appearance was at the Wimbledon final and she also attended Trooping the Colour this year.

The Princess wore the same hat she donned for church service on Sunday last year, when she donned a beige tartan Marlborough trench coat by Holland Cooper with a dark brown wool felt hat with feathers.

The stylish hat from Hicks & Brown costs £99 and comes in a range of colours including camel, dusty pink and maroon.

William drove the car, smiling as he chatted to his wife, and had worn a navy blue suit for the occasion.

Meanwhile, Charles, 75, and Camilla, 76, made colourful appearances in Scottish tartan ensembles.

The Queen opted for a bright green jacket, decorated with red collar details and buttons, paired with a matching hat.

Her husband made a stylish statement in a kilt, worn with a muted gray jacket.

Earlier this month, Kate introduced a new ‘eternity band’ and wore an old Ralph Lauren t-shirt as she sent a congratulatory message to Team GB.

The royal appeared alongside the Prince of Wales, 42, in a star-studded video shared to the couple’s Instagram.

For the cheerful clip, the mother of three wore a black-and-white striped top by Ralph Lauren.

The designer item, which originally retailed for £85, has been a mainstay in Kate’s wardrobe since 2013.

The royal was first spotted in the long-sleeved T-shirt while shopping in Anglesey in August 2013. Two months later, he also wore the shirt at an official SportAid charity event at London’s Olympic Park.

Kate wore minimal jewelry, opting for a thin, silver choker-style necklace and no earrings.

The princess was also seen wearing a new ring on her wedding ring finger, leading royal fans to suspect it is an eternity ring.

The chunky gold ring turned out to be set with diamonds and sapphires, matching the royal’s engagement ring that had once belonged to Princess Diana.

One of them commented on the Royal Fashion Police’s Instagram post: ‘The sapphire anniversary/eternity ring is a beautiful alternative to her engagement ring.

“It’s nice to have a ring with a lower profile so you can wear it every day.”

Another replied: ‘I think it’s a beautiful ring and it’s probably a more reasonable ring for everyday wear.’

Another added: ‘That sapphire band looks much more practical for everyday wear and it’s beautiful too.’

The Prince and Princess of Wales celebrated their 13th wedding anniversary this year and marked the occasion by sharing a new black-and-white portrait from their wedding.

In the short clip, Prince William stands next to her in the Instagram video. He has an unusually tough look and is unshaven.

Kate said: ‘From everyone watching at home, congratulations to Team GB.’

The Prince of Wales, wearing an official blue Team GB shirt, added briefly: “Well done Team GB, you are an inspiration to us all.”

In an accompanying message on their social media account, the royal couple said: ‘Well done @teamgb, what an incredible journey!

‘Every athlete showed immense dedication, heart and passion. You made us all so proud!

‘We celebrate every victory at @paris2024 and look forward to more from @paralympicsgb_official later in the summer.’

In March, the Princess of Wales announced in an emotional video message that she was undergoing cancer treatment and has rarely appeared in public since.

In June, Kate attended the Trooping the Colour celebrations in London and recently watched the Wimbledon men’s final with Princess Charlotte.

Kate and William’s glowing video emerged shortly after a heartfelt statement from King Charles III, in which he called all Olympians “an inspiration.”

The monarch congratulated them on their “exceptional successes” and praised their “pure talent, perseverance and hard work” in the message, which was sent just hours before the final moments of the Olympic Games in the French capital.

In the viral video, which has been liked more than 450,000 times, former England captain and football icon David Beckham also offered a message of support.
